I feel like the guy wasn’t that out of line. The lawyer ask him a question, and he said " she was a friend". Then the judge asked him did he hear the questioning, and then again he said she was a friend. Now, I do feel he owned the woman the money, and he couldn’t keep his mouth shut, I feel they where to critical of the man.

Obviously the women outnumbered him. The judge had no business coming back in from deliberation and saying she was gonna remain calm but at the same time she just couldn’t wait to shove the knife in and just keep twisting it. But, this is all extra drama for tv ratings.
