Why I'm Buying Xbox 360 Games In 2022…

With Xbox’s backwards compatibility program in shambles, I’m moving my way into the market before we see any price bumps. Between this and the 3DS, I felt now it the time to start buying before any potential bumps!

So I played SONIC HEROES For The First Time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6dTBrrxGzg

KUF: CoD is actually the third entry in the series. You’re probably thinking of KUF: The Crusaders or KUF: Heroes. Both of which contain the combat elements you mentioned. Even so, Circle of Doom is a great game. I desperately want the series brought back.

$30 for Assassins Creed 1? Ah man you way overpaid for that, that’s like a $5 game at any game store.

  4. mexiwolf009 on May 16, 2022 at 7:59 pm

Man it bums me out that I bought the Xbox series S instead of the X. I’m missing out on these physical game collection.

  5. Eternal Wolf on May 16, 2022 at 7:59 pm

That’s one of the best parts of owning a series x or s. Despite no new exclusives the ecosystem is so fast and easy that it feels seem less to play current gen and 360 games.

  6. Charlie B on May 16, 2022 at 8:01 pm

    I have 5 out of 9 games

  7. jeroen Boschma on May 16, 2022 at 8:06 pm

I recently brought bioshock 1 and 2. Also the Witcher 2 and fable 2 and a FIFA game. All so those games were dirt cheap, beside Witcher 2, and cost me less then 60 euros. I have been collecting Xbox 360 games for a couple months now and i have around 150 games. I am also collecting N64 games and have around 250 for that console. I love both my collection for those consoles

  8. J F on May 16, 2022 at 8:07 pm

Matty, I’m curious if you’ve heard of Lukie Games or if you use them? I ordered a complete copy of Assassin’s Creed from them recently and it was around 8 dollars. Sometimes they have great prices and I have always had a good experience ordering from them. Just a thought! Love the videos!

  9. Jamal Hailey on May 16, 2022 at 8:08 pm

Welp glad I got my Xbox 360 so I’ve been buying the games off the marketplace for cheap prices don’t mind paying 20.00 for GTA 4 or 15.00 for max Payne 3

    More actual stories

  11. Hunter Green on May 16, 2022 at 8:09 pm

As a kid, we used the Hulk Hands to start a backyard boxing ring on our trampoline. Hahaha This brought back some serious memories.

  12. No_one_from_Nowhere. on May 16, 2022 at 8:09 pm

This is a console I went hard on collecting when everybody else was buying snes and 64 games

  13. tryphone on May 16, 2022 at 8:10 pm

I still have the og version of fable complete edition and kotor 1 and 2. Republic commandos, otogi 2..maan wish i had the first one. Morrowind collectors complete edition..umm. tenchu..i wanna call it wrath of heaven but the xbox version was like..basically the same game with new mechanics, levels, moves, better graphics, ect.

Shinmui 2 or however u call it. I believe i still have that kingdom under fire game you mentioned on og xbox.

    Just to name a few.

A bunch of years back i had a massive collection ranging from 150 to 300 games on every console that came out.starting from Atari ending from og xbox and ps2, i had some of the most rare games. One of my favorites was einhander.

All lost in storage. Becouse of hard times. And not being able to pay the bill. So they auctioned my collection off.

The thing that hurts the most is the fact whoever got my collection probably has no idea, of the insane amount of wealth they inherited smfh. Still bothers me to this day.

Really wish Xbox would add a completion list or a badge on title in UI library. Most of us can’t 100% the achievements but finish the game and would love to look back at all games completed.

  15. Carcass288 on May 16, 2022 at 8:12 pm

have you played all your games in your colllection or plan to or do you collect just to collect?

  16. OneEye Monster on May 16, 2022 at 8:13 pm

I only started last year. I have almost 200 360 games. I don’t actively go looking for them.
I just buy them when I see them…most for under $5. The only game I paid $30 … is GTA5
pro-order version. It has the MAP and blimp code card. GTA4 for $10.
The even have D.D. None Dark Arisen and Dark Arisen. I have all the A.C. games . I even have Tomb Raider Under World and legenday..on Top of Tomb Raiders and Rise of. Whatever Lego ( 5-ea). There’s alot of cool games of the 360.

  17. Rob Mikels on May 16, 2022 at 8:13 pm

You lost me at Singularity…that’s one of the worst games, I’ve played on the Xbox 360. I do agree that the 360, has good games which are mostly better than the garbage, coming out these days but your examples are weak.

  18. SquidBeyond on May 16, 2022 at 8:15 pm

30$ for Assassin’s Creed? You got robbed 😂

  19. k33nan3 on May 16, 2022 at 8:18 pm

Me and my gf still play mortal kombat vs dc.. so fun!

  20. Emperor Of The Sith on May 16, 2022 at 8:18 pm

I play bunch of 360 games on my Xbox series s and some of that generation on my ps3 as well. It was my favorite generation of gaming

  21. Luis Rodriguez on May 16, 2022 at 8:19 pm

Bro, yes! I am so glad you mentioned how great Ubisoft’s Naruto games were. Their recreation of the leaf village has not been matched yet like AT ALL!

  22. Optimus Magnum on May 16, 2022 at 8:19 pm

Ive been collecting 360 games since 2018 and especially more now as the final list of backwards compatible games were released. I still own 360 consoles along with Xbox Original consoles and I actually enjoy playing games on the 360. So many great games on that console. I play some on the Xbox One as well but I definitely love my 360. If u have the chance and if u don’t own them grab Transformers War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron, 2 awesome games and NOT backwards compatible but still great. Everyone is going Gamecube and N64 right now, so go PS3 and 360. Happy Hunting!

  23. PyraStanJord on May 16, 2022 at 8:20 pm

    $30 for AC1?
Its the equivalent of $2 in the UK?

  24. Z. S. N. on May 16, 2022 at 8:24 pm

Sssshhhh… quit giving people ideas. I am loving the 2 and 3 dollar price I get on them at my local pawn shop.

  25. j esss on May 16, 2022 at 8:25 pm

Assassins creed 1 for $30!? You sure it wasn’t $3? LOL

  26. Joe Ortiz on May 16, 2022 at 8:25 pm

Great video, one game I really wish I pulled the trigger on before it was made backwards compatible is 50 cent blood on the sand. Now it’s price skyrocketed sadly. Recently I was able to buy NFS Most Wanted (2006 I believe) for the 360 for 15 bucks! That game is so much fun and one of my top racing games ever and I got it for an absolute steal

  27. Bryan on May 16, 2022 at 8:26 pm

Max Payne 3 was a blast, I didn’t play until almost 10 years and i’m sad i missed out on multiplayer.

  28. Riden's Room on May 16, 2022 at 8:26 pm

I bought a replacement 360 in December and its been my most played console this year. There is still so much I never played or finished

Looking into starting a collection however I’m really gonna have to hustle, we don’t have much option to buy my side of the world…

  31. James Phoenix on May 16, 2022 at 8:30 pm

I’m always shocked by how expensive second hand games are in the US, most are double what they would cost in the UK. If you look at the library of PS3 games over here, half of them cost between $1-5. Additionally, there are about 1000 physical PS3 games released in Europe, and you could get a complete set for about $10,000, including all the rare titles that go for $70+.

  32. PicoloTight2Def on May 16, 2022 at 8:30 pm

I was just in Dyersburg TN & found a used game shop. I scored Gemna Onimusha, Max Payne 1 & 2, Dead to Rights, Dragon Age Origins Ultimate edition (all the DLC), Yaiba Ninja Gaiden, & Uncharted 4 for under 60 bucks. If I go back I’m picking up a vita, ps3 motion controls, ps3 camera, & ps4 camera.

Get in while the getting’s good.

  33. elijah on May 16, 2022 at 8:34 pm

I’m still buying these because 90% of that console’s library has aged really well

  34. Aleks2k12 on May 16, 2022 at 8:34 pm

    Nice video.
Since my xbox one died 4 weeks ago i just bought a 360 and started collecting and playing the old games.

  35. Shark Pouch on May 16, 2022 at 8:35 pm

The Max Payne 3 multiplayer is shutdown sadly. Managed to get all the trophies for multiplayer before it shutdown, really fun!

  36. Raffi Sefildzhian on May 16, 2022 at 8:39 pm

Ive been growing my collection lately as well. Mostly ps3, and some ps2. Its crazy how many amazing games are under $20

  37. N7Hughes Gaming on May 16, 2022 at 8:40 pm

Singularity is one of those games that I hope will get a second chance at life after the Microsoft/Activision.

  38. ShadowPurr on May 16, 2022 at 8:42 pm

Me and my father love playing our xbox 360+. His favorite game is College Hoops 2K8. He also likes minecraft, which I play with him sometimes. I would also like to mention, the xbox 360, its probably one of the most epic consoles.

  39. Rollo-Koster on May 16, 2022 at 8:43 pm

Just a heads up: The Death and Return of Superman on the snes and genesis is good. Be sure to mention it on your Superman video. Also, the Superman arcade game.

  40. nicolas falcon on May 16, 2022 at 8:43 pm

I still have the first AC that came in tin cover and it still has the Altair figure in its original eggshell case 💯

  41. Destroyermcw 626 on May 16, 2022 at 8:45 pm

I have 90+ digitalis installed and like 20 Discs featuring Raging blast 2(Ultimate Black Kinect Xbox 360!!!!)

  42. TheBBQBandito on May 16, 2022 at 8:46 pm

When I saw max Payne 3 on sale I just had to get it. I loved it when I was younger.

  43. Breegullbeak on May 16, 2022 at 8:48 pm

The original Assassin’s Creed manual is great. Yes it’s in black and white, but it’s framed as being written by the cast from outside the Animus.

  44. Darren Wilson on May 16, 2022 at 8:51 pm

That price for assassins creed is crazy in the uk we can get it for £3

  45. Nicomanism on May 16, 2022 at 8:51 pm

The Xbox 360 is the next "PS2 library" to collect for. As in, most games, not all, are still dirt cheap to purchase; especially if you’re avoiding those PS3 game prices. It is also one of the more accessible, and easier libraries to start building your game collection as opposed to PS3, Sega Saturn to name a few. I recommend now.

  46. Jacob S on May 16, 2022 at 8:53 pm

Bro you’re getting straight booty clapped on some of these prices. Unless you’re buying new I’d understand, but it doesn’t look like it.

  47. Bill Cook on May 16, 2022 at 8:53 pm

    Superman Returns:
Pros – Better than Superman 64
    Cons – Just barely

Someday there will be a good Superman video game. Today is not that day.
