Don’t buy iPhones, their next update iOS 15 will scan your images without your permission just so they can find “CP” plus not only that a bot will be who’s behind the scanning and if the bot confuses a normal image for CP then it could ruin a persons life over a image that doesn’t contain any CP, Go with Samsung or any other flagship phone but not iPhone!
Keeping my iPhone 8. Had it since January 2020, and its perfectly fine. I would upgrade to Se2 but they don’t have pretty gold or pink color 🥺lol

I found that if you turn off facebook after use, your phone would feel a bit snappier. I’m using an iphone 8 running the latest software with a brand new battery from apple and it somehow sometimes experiences frame drop while returning to home screen or switching apps. I decided to turn off Facebook every time I’m done with it, and I can feel that the phone is a bit more responsive and the frame drop happens less than before. Hopefully this trick works on your devices

My biggest takeaway from the new iPhone lineup is how weird the iPhone 12 fits in – for $700 you get the 64gb iPhone 12, $750 for the 128gb version- and then for $800 you get the iPhone 13 with 128gb. It just doesn’t really make sense to choose the 12 over it for that price, even if it’s still a fantastic device.

I am torn. I was gonna buy the 12 mini(256gb), but the 13 mini(256gb) is just $50 more. I would have gone for the bigger storage, but that’s like $200 more.
Watch next year, Apple turns the mini into the new SE(2022), since it may not sell that much.
I get why you would say the SE 2020 is a "senior citizen phone" but honestly, I’m almost 40 and an IT professional and a pretty heavy power user. I like to save money and don’t feel the need to have the latest and greatest of everything. As a geriatric millennial, the SE 2020 handles everything I throw at it with great battery life and I prefer fingerprints over face unlock. The fact I got mine brand new for $150 made it a no-brainer. I could go out and buy the 13 but I would honestly feel bad to replace it because it does everything I need. It’s compact and usable with one hand. It’s a good device for unflashy people who just want stuff to work and don’t want to worry about dropping or losing it more often than AppleCare allows. I’m very clumsy and recently destroyed a 2 week old M1 MacBook Air.
I’m personally a fan of my 2020 SE because I’m still not comfortable with the new design ( ie. I’m not giving up my home button without a bloody fight )
I’ve had the XR for over two years. Still 91% battery health. I don’t see myself upgrading for at least another two years. I love the iPhone XR but I wish it was slightly smaller. Hoping that I can find a decent phone under 6 inches once I finally upgrade. Probably will look for an iPhone 13 mini for cheap once we get a couple more generations of iPhone
Look at the stupid apple haters in the comments getting mad because they’re too broke to afford these iPhones. 😂 they’re stuck using a cheap android phone that they probably got from their parents
I have the 8plus and really want to get the 12 pro max because I like the bigger phones. I have straight talk so I will be using smart pay but they only approved me for $1,000 and the 12 pro max is still listed there as $1,099. So waiting for that price to drop to $999 is annoying. I also have heard the battery life in the 12 pro max is a lot better than the battery life in the 12 pro. The 12 pro is $999 but the 13 pro is also $999, so if I were to get the smaller one, I would just get the 13 pro because it is the newer phone and the price is the same. Hopefully though the 12 pro max price will drop so I can get it with straight talk.
As an ex Apple fan boy who owned IPhones for year after year, I cautiously dipped my toe into the Android pool and sceptically went for a Galaxy. After the first week of getting used to it, I had to admit I was impressed by it’s capabilities and then the S21 Ultra came out so I went for that. So far I have to say it is light years ahead of my son’s iPhone 12 Pro Max, so far that he now wants one!
If you are thinking of trying something other than Apple, there really is no better time to take the plunge.

I just now bought the 11 coming from the 6s I’m happy with it. Since the 13, apple reduced the 11 to $500 and perfect price for it.
In our used market, the XR (64GB) feels like the worst choice. For it’s price, you can get a 256GB iphone X or a 64GB iPhone Xs. Both have way better screen and secondary camera for portrait mode. It’s almost a no-brainer.

I’m keeping my 128GB iPhone 11
I use my XS quite a lot during the day, and I’ll get maybe half a day. My battery life will say I’ve used about 180% almost every day, I’ll usually wake up around noon and charge maybe around 5 or 6 when I reach 20% or so. I’ve pre ordered a 512GB Sierra Blue 13 Pro, gonna be nice to get that on launch day.

I have a 12 pro max that is almost a year old, I’m gonna hang onto it for it’s 2 year peak performance lifespan and get the 14 pro max (or whatever apples flagship called then) when it comes out next year. Though I wish I was rich enough to upgrade yearly lol,

Ironically, If I go from my 2yr old $250 phone to the iPhone 11, I’d be thinking about the lowered resolution and thicker bezels.

iPhone XR has lower res screen. Can’t take portrait photos of objects or dogs. iPhone 8 Plus has full hd screen and can take portrait photos of anything. Also just because the design it’s old doesn’t mean it’s bad, I know many people that know how to use the all screen iPhones but they prefer the button design. Just because a design is newer doesn’t mean it’s better lol
