What about this new M cpu Apple has come out with? Is this new release good for video editing?

  4. SteveyMamba on August 9, 2021 at 9:37 pm

i am not going to lie, this is by far the best description of how computers are suppose to be explain. Rather your a videographer or photographer, this is the best video explaining what you need on your computer. Thank you!

Will there be a video solely on videography as well?

  5. No Name on August 9, 2021 at 9:37 pm

Hello GREAT VIDEO 👍. I’m about to embark on a career in sports and news photography. I need a Mac laptop that works on the go. I can edit photos while shooting sports pitch side. I’m not that interested in making videos or storing images on the Mac. I will not be storing films or tv shows either. Basically I would be running Lightroom & Word document. Again great video got a better understanding of things. Thanks

The new MacBook Pro 16 inch….What do you suggest…. the i7 or i9 base entry models (no customization)…Mostly for photography but I do like to do a little video.

  11. Pig Mint Film on August 9, 2021 at 9:44 pm

What a time for Tyler to magically reappear as I’m in teh market for a macbook pro! Haven’t even watched it yet – hoping you cover specs for video a little too!
Good to see your face again buddy!

Notwithstanding the fact that your video is dated, you messed too many numbers, and fact. Thumbs Down

  13. Paul Sanmartin on August 9, 2021 at 9:50 pm

Mate, thanks so much for this video. Thanks to you I made a great purchase.

Man where were u 3 yrs ago? Thx for the video.

  16. Douglas Barrow on August 9, 2021 at 9:53 pm

Thanks so much for these explanations. I currently have an old 15" MacBook Pro and it’s time to get a new one. Currently its October 2020 and there is no new 15" MacBook pro. They replaced it with a 16" one! They also have a 13" but I’m not going backwards. The new 16 is similar to the 15 you described but with a few added standard upgrades. What you said still mostly applies so once again thank you for this videos.

  17. Hayley Devine on August 9, 2021 at 9:55 pm

I haven’t even finished the video yet and I’ve already learned so much!! Thank you!

  18. Jim Riviera on August 9, 2021 at 9:55 pm

Although this video is 2 years old, and the models and options have changed, this is by far one of the best videos if you are a photographer . Excellent explanation of technical specs and reasoning behind why you would or would not want to purchase an option. Well done. 👏

  19. Sam Freeman on August 9, 2021 at 9:56 pm

Thank you so much for this video, I’ve been forever stuck as to what Mac to buy 😂

  20. Barbara Caldeira on August 9, 2021 at 9:57 pm

    Great explanation! Thanks

  21. Leigh Jones on August 9, 2021 at 9:57 pm

If you don’t store RAW files on the MacBook Pro, where do you store them? Are you always working from an external hard drive?

  22. Lucy on August 9, 2021 at 9:57 pm

So if I get a bigger desk do I still need more RAM?

  23. EMONE SKILLZ on August 9, 2021 at 10:01 pm

    awesome video, thanks bro.

  24. Ryan Hooker on August 9, 2021 at 10:05 pm

  27. Colton French on August 9, 2021 at 10:07 pm

Great video and SUPER helpful!! I truly appreciate you putting together this video because I was completely lost as to what I actually need!

  28. Mitch Booth on August 9, 2021 at 10:09 pm

Do you recommend Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premier Pro?

  29. College Graduate on August 9, 2021 at 10:11 pm

This video was super helpful! Thank you 😊 Depending on which computer you get, wouldn’t it be cheaper to maybe get the middle budget of said computer and then upgrade the RAM, and SSD on your own and then simply pay for the best core processor?

  30. Jessica Chan on August 9, 2021 at 10:11 pm

Such an informative video. Really appreciate how concise and clear you made it for someone like me (with no tech experience). I am just beginning my side job as a photographer and have been stressed about which laptop to buy, and this has really made my decision much easier. Thank you! 🙂

  31. Elijah Moss on August 9, 2021 at 10:12 pm

    This is SUPER helpful!

  32. Rose Laukaitis on August 9, 2021 at 10:14 pm

Thank you – I learned a lot about which Mac to purchase – I also learned not to store my raw files on my computer – Thanks

    Great video! Subscribed.

  35. Acquavallo on August 9, 2021 at 10:19 pm

This is the first time I’ve hear a photographer say to keep internal memory low. Everyone else I’ve spoken to or watched highly recommends to biggest harddrive possible

  36. Nekoj Covek on August 9, 2021 at 10:19 pm

Pro tip: don’t buy mac books, they are terrible

  37. Nicole Hoffler Ward on August 9, 2021 at 10:21 pm

Super helpful! With the new Macbook Pros what do you suggest? Would the $2399 version be enough for photographers? I’m in the market for a new MB Pro because mine has literally gone crazy or either just hates me one.

I hate that they got rid of the butterfly keyboard on the new 16". I really liked the bigger size of the keys on them.

  41. WebCreations88 on August 9, 2021 at 10:24 pm

What would you recommend as the best upgrade options for the MacBook Pro 16 depending on different capable prices?

  42. Fabiana Loverde de Huffaker on August 9, 2021 at 10:25 pm

What would your recommendation be for a new iMac? I don’t need the portability of a macbook.

  43. Mike Dye on August 9, 2021 at 10:25 pm

Best video by far explaining the complete computer system and Apple products. What I can’t comprehend is, why would you spend over $1,000 more on a MacBook pro over say a MSI GF65 that has better specs? I’m not trying to diss Apple at all. I just want to know why I should consider the MacBook pro, if I’m missing something please let me know!

  44. John Butler on August 9, 2021 at 10:26 pm

Anybody else hear COD in the background?
