I find Resistance to be best at 7 players. Having 3 spies in that last round makes it so that you have to pick EXACTLY right. The tension, drama and debates that generates totally makes it.
Dune is 1 of the best 6 player games. Doesn’t get enough love anymore due to its lack of a reprint.
Game of Thrones 2nd edition board game is best with 6, and D&D would be another game for me, though I did have 7 wonders, Battlestar Galactica and Bang. Firefly, I can’t remember if it goes above 5 people or not since I have only played it as a 3 player game so far. But Avalon is decent with six, but I think I prefer it with more people.

Played Jamaica 2 player with my daughter last night. When you play 2 player there is a ghost ship variant and it was REALLY fun. The ghost ship movement is super cool and ups the attacks and such. Pretty great.
Can you redo this list? Maybe next year?

Twilight Imperium 3 is pretty much my number one, as well, but I haven’t played it in a year and some change because of just how much time it takes to play and the set up and the takedown. It’s a herculean effort. But it’s very satisfying once you get it in place.
For me the best six-player game is definitely Dog.

Splitting up a 6-player group, I find, has inherent problems, cause the games you play rarely end simultaneously.
And yet you get together to meet one another and have fun with one another, so there is an interest in keeping six players together as a single group.
That’s why I think it’s a good thing you guys made this list!
I LOVE twilight imperium and my gaming groups favor game. but have to play in 2+ game session.
Shadow Hunters is such a weird and fun game. I love it.

Just watched the liveplay video with Rhado and Jason, I don’t blame Zee at all. Jason just derailed any kind of enjoyment that was to be had. Felt bad for Rhado being stuck sitting next to him for the duration.
Heya @The Dice Tower! Just a suggestion to improve future videos, it’d be REALLY good if you had Time Stamps in the description of these Top10’s, so people can skip between games.
As much as I’d love to, I don’t have time to watch a 50minute video, ontop of being unable to skip games I don’t want to listen about.

Conquest of the Empire
TI3 is worst at six! You get an epic game out of seven or eight or a tight paranoid game at four or five, six is too large to be tense but too small to be operatic.
on amazon cosmic encounter says 3-5 players. if you need an expansion for 6 then what expansion do you recommend?

I am gettin nostalgic while looking at that. Don‘t get me wrong the new setup is great, but this was like oldschool 🙂 very immersive.. and you did seem to get a lot more sleep 😉
