  2. Larry Bethune on November 17, 2020 at 3:40 pm

So is the LG linear compressor failure issue fixed yet? Do they have parts? Has the class action lawsuit been resolved?

  3. Mark Miles on November 17, 2020 at 3:41 pm

I guess this is a video for people who don’t care about pricing.

  4. Bible Girl on November 17, 2020 at 3:41 pm

I’ve had my LG for ten years It’s still modern and looks like the fridge in The video. I want a smart Hub fridge, are they any good?

  5. Nick S on November 17, 2020 at 3:42 pm

I’ve been told by appliance repairman that LG and Samsung refrigerator’s are bad.

  6. Daniel Rosales on November 17, 2020 at 3:42 pm

Sorry I had to turn you off. No review is good enough if you have no power to what you are reviewing. Singing out at less than a minute.

  7. Matthew Coburn on November 17, 2020 at 3:43 pm

You have no idea what you are talking about. LG is not a reliable fridge

  8. Pat Huber on November 17, 2020 at 3:43 pm

I bought a Maytag fridge about 7 years ago. I paid a lot of $$$$on this model. I bought it as I loved the ice maker. Well of course the ice maker went up! Now it is leaking and the sounds are constantly knocking 24 hrs a day.. need a new fridge right away. I think no one from Maytag gives a hoot! Just one more issue to deal with.. thanks for this informative info! 😡😡🥵🤢

  9. Canofaces on November 17, 2020 at 3:44 pm

If you buy the LG with the craft ice the first time it does take probably 30 hours for it to freeze good but after that your tray will fill up fast just leave it alone and don’t use it for like a week and the next thing you know it’ll be full. I love mine

  10. Life With Barry on November 17, 2020 at 3:44 pm

you lost me at LG being reliable. lols

  11. Ja J on November 17, 2020 at 3:46 pm

    Look at consumer reports.

  12. seth johnson on November 17, 2020 at 3:47 pm

Thanks for the info, great video. The LG (#4) and (#1) has a second ice maker in the freezer though

  13. REVIEW MEDIA on November 17, 2020 at 3:47 pm

Sorry to say but this guy is absolutely wrong when it comes to reliability on the leg LG. I am a certified LG, Samsung, Whirlpool,GE, Frigidaire technician. LG and Samsung is the least reliable refrigerators on the market LG have compressor issues quite frequently, Samsung has ice maker and fresh food failures I do almost everyday, I would say whirlpool and GE are your top most reliable brands and LG and Samsung is the top technology side. Only technicians are going to know what’s reliable.

  14. Lisa Ann Coursey on November 17, 2020 at 3:47 pm

Thanks, I appreciate all the great info!

  15. Rosalinda Marini on November 17, 2020 at 3:49 pm

    LG…the worst

  16. Jim Bruni on November 17, 2020 at 3:50 pm

    The company shill!

  17. sean hayes on November 17, 2020 at 3:53 pm

Kenmore elite is absolutely garbage. Mine died twice in 5 years. It’s currently dead. No one is helping me. Only 5 years old. LG owns kenmore.

  18. gabriel knights on November 17, 2020 at 3:57 pm

Bells and whistles are nice, What I’m really looking forward to was ratings on the life of the fridge…. Who cares if your fridge has all this cool gadgets if it’s going to break down in a phew year’s…. I have 3 refrigerators, guess which one has lasted me 15 years and still works. My old one. My 3 year old Kenmore can’t even keep up…

  19. Abcdefg on November 17, 2020 at 3:57 pm

    $5,000 for a REFRIGERATOR!?!?

  20. Brian Binnie on November 17, 2020 at 3:57 pm

LG makes trash tv’s. I certainly wouldn’t buy an LG fridge. Whirlpool or kitchen aid.

  21. Richard Marks on November 17, 2020 at 3:59 pm

DO NOT buy an LG. Compressors have a history of failure in 3-4 years. There is a class action law suite against LG for their faulty refrigerators.

  22. Kalpana Surti on November 17, 2020 at 4:00 pm

needing a ge refrigerator, 27 or 28cu ft, Any recommendations?

  23. o3MTA3o on November 17, 2020 at 4:04 pm

I bought that Jennair Fridge in the Noir line. Love it.

  24. David Emory on November 17, 2020 at 4:10 pm

The lg refrigerator has a bad compressor that will not last anytime before you will have to have compressor replaced

  25. Roberta Lopez on November 17, 2020 at 4:10 pm

Funny…I say, never buy an LG. I made the unfortunate mistake of choosing all LG appliances for my kitchen remodel in 2012. The year before, I purchased the LG brand washer and dryer; since I hadn’t had a problem yet with either the first year I thought it was a good brand. In the last 8 years, I have had repairmen for all except the gas stove. The things that were consistent with all the needed repairs was, FIRST, it was hard to find anyone who would work on them. I live in the metropolitan are of Salt Lake City, UT, so not a small town. Finally I called the LG national customer service number. They gave me two numbers for repair help. I called the first, and he said he doesn’t work on LGs anymore. The next man came but had an incredibly hard time repairing my wall ovens. SECOND, parts are never available! You have to wait 3-6 weeks. Now my refrigerator isn’t cold and the first guy said appointments are out to mid DEC! The second guy won’t call me back.

  26. Teraman on November 17, 2020 at 4:14 pm

I do appliance repair for a living I’m watching this video now if they have an LG French door as one of the better refrigerators then they don’t know what they’re talking about. This GE has issues as well but no more than most the fifth one. okay that’s all I need to say this guy is a salesman That’s all he is this is a fraudulent rating that LG refrigerator is so problematic take my word for it . that whirlpool is not bad at all I don’t see that much as far as a repair. that Jenn-Air is just a higher-end whirlpool same company. okay I fast forwarded all the way to where he’s recommending another LG Don’t listen to this guy, just do a Google search on LG refrigerators and compressors.

  27. datboylance on November 17, 2020 at 4:15 pm

Ok WAIT!? Everyone saying Stay Away from Samsung, LG, & Frigidaire! Like damn should I just not buy a Refrigerator. 😂🤣
BTW I own a Samsung and yes the Icemaker is pure trash. It freezes over, and I use my wife’s hair dryer to thaw it. Smdh just embarrassing 🤦🏾‍♂️

  28. Leonardo DiCrapio on November 17, 2020 at 4:16 pm

    Avoid LG!!!

  29. Aiden klinger on November 17, 2020 at 4:17 pm

I have a geometry test tomorrow, what am I doing here?

  30. Stalin Iderbei on November 17, 2020 at 4:17 pm

Looking for the fridge that Pelosi just bought👌

  31. Joe O on November 17, 2020 at 4:20 pm

I’m glad Samsung did not make the list. Ice maker keeps freezing up and takes F O R E V E R to get ice out of the door. I have to unplug it every 2 months for 12 hours to thaw out the ice maker. It freezes where there is no access without disassembly and makes loud noises when frozen up.

  32. sai kumar on November 17, 2020 at 4:21 pm

Samsung fridges are worst – water leakage is a major problem.

  33. DeVon on November 17, 2020 at 4:21 pm

Im an Appliance tech, I would never own a samsung or LG the worst problems in appliances, whirlpool and maytag is the way to go, kenmore puts there name on other brands so kenmore is a hit and miss.

  34. Bill Andersen on November 17, 2020 at 4:22 pm

    Cc

  35. Basca dog on November 17, 2020 at 4:24 pm

Would it kill you to prepare a bit for a video and actually plug them in prior.

  36. Katiedid on November 17, 2020 at 4:26 pm

would not even consider LG because of poor customer service and both my daughters have had numerous problems with theirs. Was disappointed he did not review the kitchenaide.

  37. True voice on November 17, 2020 at 4:26 pm

    Price

  38. Josef Griveas on November 17, 2020 at 4:28 pm

I’m an appliance technician with plenty of experience. If you buy samsung & ge or LG & kenmore . Expect nothing but for them to last you 5 years

  39. Canofaces on November 17, 2020 at 4:28 pm

Hi, I just bought the new LG with the craft ice I hope it was a good deal. Thank you

  40. Cathy Brillhart on November 17, 2020 at 4:28 pm

Had and LG, it didn’t even last 6 years. Sub par compressor is what our repair tech told us. Run the other way!

  41. Maria Maiorino on November 17, 2020 at 4:28 pm

I’d like to see a review on the kitchenaid KRFC704FBS please

  42. Mark Saldibar on November 17, 2020 at 4:29 pm

How can this guy say LG is a reliable fridge? I bought an LG fridge 2 years ago and now it stopped working. LG has sent repair guys to fix our fridge several times and they have not been able fix it. We have put a request for a refund and have been waiting 4 months without a fridge so far. I did a some research about LG fridges and found out I was not the only one having problems and there is a class action law suit. I’ve waited hours talking to customer service I can say for sure i will never buy LG again.

  43. cashrjr23 on November 17, 2020 at 4:31 pm

Him touching everything with his bare hands is freaking me out…especially the ice maker…when I buy I will clean thoroughly…

  44. Jay on November 17, 2020 at 4:31 pm

Damn 3gs for a fridge. It better make me a sandwich to

  45. Vincent Fideles jr on November 17, 2020 at 4:31 pm

No to LG ! I bought same Ref. But it didn’t last long. Took only 3 years and has a lot of issues like dispensing of water and ice not working well.bought it from Sears store. LG brand is no good.

  46. Diane K on November 17, 2020 at 4:32 pm

It’s really aggravating & disgusting how they are making these new fridges. 🤬 Samsung sucks! The ice maker replaced, just about a year old. The evaporator, replaced, leaking under tray, an ongoing problem…cant fix. Ice maker broke, after 3 years. 😡

  47. omar al-kadhi on November 17, 2020 at 4:33 pm

I don’t understand why they make a big refrigerator but when you open it the space is not that big, the walls are so thick !! That’s ridiculous.
The last one it seems it’s better.

  48. Freedom Rider on November 17, 2020 at 4:35 pm

Please add the word "affordable" or the phrase "best under X dollars." I’m positive Sub Zero, Viking and others are most certainly superior to these and they are available for purchase every year.

  49. Razlas Films on November 17, 2020 at 4:35 pm

Does anyone recommend Samsung fridges?? I keep reading about ice not working. Anyone buy one and have it work as its supposed to long term??

  50. Lois Jones on November 17, 2020 at 4:35 pm

Thank you for this video, it was very helpful. I would caution everyone about buying the LG fridge tho. The same week my 6yo LG broke down, LG announced a class action lawsuit settlement on their compressors. That was the problem with my fridge too, but it was a couple weeks of Customer Service Hell and $135 to find out that it also needed a new control board that is no longer manufactured. LG could not tell me how many MONTHS this would take to get it. Your video just confirmed for me (along with other articles) that the Whirlpool is the best buy.
