What about LG refrigerators?
Samsung is crap. Spent 800.00 to fix ice maker. Works when it feels like working. Now the housing unit that holds the filter is broken and Samsung wants 300.00 for the part plus service and installation. The worst fridge I have ever owned. Would never buy anything made by Samsung. Stay away from there products. Most technicians hate working on there so called products. I can’t say anything good about this fridge, and it’s not very old.
Denise L – we purchased our Samsung refrigerator in November, within days we noticed a baseball size ding in the refrigerator side door which was only noticeable from an angle. Well most people enter our home from the side door and could see almost immediately. When requesting and new door we were informed they could only replace the entire refrigerator. Emptied the refrigerator and freezer into 2 large coolers, two small coolers and one mini refrigerator. When the service/delivery men came they said the could just exchange the door. We spent hours packing and unpacking the refrigerator. Then we started using the refrigerator, the water that came thru the system was Luke warm, and the ice cube setting for cubes gave use partial crushed ice from day one. Joining the lawsuit immediately!!!
Frigidaire is not a quality fridge in my opinion. Not very good customer service either when it breaks down and you call them for warranty repairs. Ice maker broke in mine about a year after owning it.
dont buy samsung, LG, Kitchn Aid what is a girl to buy???In the market for a new Fridge we had a Whirlpool but after 1.5 it broke.
Lmao….Samsung, like LG class action lawsuits on the compressors, lowest rating -even worse than LG!!!! BTW…..Sub Z is the best there is. PERIOD.
I’m surprised about the complains towards Samsung. I never had a Samsung refrigerator but I have a 7kg front load Samsung washing machine and it’s been with me for the last 8 yrs and still working perfectly..

How much do they cost maintenance wise? How often is the repairman going to be making a visit to make repairs? We have Samsung, fridge, stove, and washer/ dryer. Worst products we’ve ever owned.
No Samsung’s,LG or Kenmore,, YES KENMORE. CHECK FIRST 3 Numbers on model number and that will tell you which company made it and what country …
My Whirlpool 5 door is junk just now a year and 2 months old and have had 5 service visits and still isnt fixed
My Samsung freezes up behind the panel, I have to turn off every week to defrost the ice, fun time.
Based on all the comments…looks like my 13 year old fridge is the best option. Doesn’t seem like any of the new fridges are worth it today.
Samsung needs to stay with electronics because there is nothing special about the quality of their appliances. Spending a lot of money for junk.

You lost me when you said Samsung was good. They are total crap. Their ice makers freeze up monthly from a known defect, and if you join the Facebook group, you can get a full refund. Samsung Refrigerator Recall Now is the site. Don’t ever buy a Samsung appliance. How anyone can still recommend these hunks of junk is beyond me.

Samsung is crap.Stay away. Mine is only 1,5 years old and nothing but trouble. The typical issues…ice maker, temp. sensor behind TWIN COOLING cover, etc, etc

Bought a $4,000 LG French Door Refrigerator…DO NOT BUY LG!!
We’re currently been without refrigerator for about a month because no one can figure out why this POS is not cooling properly. Even after they changed the complete Liner system. Bought it from Conns and luckily its still covered under warranty. This has been a nightmare especially with the Corona virus and living out of 3 ice coolers. Never buying LG again. You been warned

We have a Samsung refrigerator. Just had the ice maker replaced. We Had the Samsung washer. When brand new it sprayed water in the floor then had a recall for the top flying off.
