Yes, very frustrating to get a new phone home only to find it just can’t get a signal and have to return it. Have found Amazon to be very flexible with returns for this reason.
We live in the country side and have found that Moto G series of phones are some of the best. The G4 and G6 get signal pretty much anywhere in our house. G5 was a little worse – needed to be near a window. ZTE Nubia N1 lite was surprisingly good too.
Worst of the bunch were Asus Zenfone 3 Laser, Leagoo M5, Umidigi Power and Umidigi One – had to stand outside to get a signal.
Well yes it is a question I ask. And that is why I am here, to find out what phone to get next. I already know the Motorola G7 power is not an option – my friend gets worse reception than I do with my old Honor 7. Shame, because that’s otherwise a good phone.

It’s funny that most of the people ignore this in their phone review’s-antenna Quality must be a top priority for any smartphone-Loved the video and I experienced the change myself-my Moto g5s plus struggled to get reception in some areas(otherwise a fantastic Phone)my dad recently got gifted a Nokia 6-and the change in 4g reception is unbelievably good😍.Kudos for making this video mate😍thanQ So much…

I hope you know what your talking about because I just ordered a Samsung j7. Hopefully to get better reception.
I dont agree with Samsung J7 because its really poor when compared to Motorola. I have seen Motorola antennas are great when compared to Samsung or Nokia.
