Do not buy LG. Bought a stove…..Store Technician acknowledged manufacturer defect…..LG would not stand behind their product. Store gave me an exchange for a different manufacturer.
One thing that people don’t understand is that this type of people sell these type of refrigerators and reason why they say they are the "best". Worst appliance you can buy #1 samsung, #2 LG, #3 kenmore, #4 Frigedaire. LG is getting wise by selling parts to other manufactures like kenmore and hince why it’s in #3. I’m an appliance tech, and these are the ones I work on the most. Samsung has bad parts, design that they crap out within a year, less than 5 years. LG basically make shitty compressors and plastic parts. Keep buying these appliances, job security for me. 😉

This is almost the identical model as mine. It’s been a nightmare. Over 5 separate service calls and no solutions. The compressor died 2 times, freezing causes circulation fan to seize up (this is the issue the lawsuits were aiming at), and after a 5 painful years, it died. Our LG microwave was just as poorly made.

Samsung appliances are absolute junk. Have had two houses now that came with Samsung and have had to replace everything both times. I love my Samsung phone, but their appliances are trash.

Thanks for the video. I have this question. Will any French door refrig fit in an opening that is width 39 in, height 68 in, depth 32 1/2 in.. I can remove the cabinet above the current opening to take care of a 70 inch. But what about when the door is open at 90°? Will it fit within the 39" opening?

Samsung is the WORST maker for refrigerators! We spent $3800 on a huge 4 french door flex Samsung 4 yrs ago and the sealed cooling system just failed a few months outside of our extended warranty. Because the cooling system is sealed, it is NOT REPAIRABLE!!! So if anything happens to yours, the fridge is done. Even worse than the quality is their customer service, which is a complete nightmare…assuming you can even get through to them that is. Buyer beware!
I’d like to know where the power cord is located? believe it or not the owners manual does not say or show where it is. I need to put the outlet in the correct spot, high or low, before the drywallers start putting up walls.

Stay away from Samsung and LG. It will save you a lot of problems and money.
Why not just be a salesman, and try to influence people to buy JUNK like that Samsung pos that will last less than three years. The LG is about the same, doesn’t last long and needs repairs constantly. Get a ref with the knob controls and none of this electronic crap.

You are doing a disservice recommending LG refrigerators in any "top" list. Any LG refrigerator with a linear compressor has known engineering defects that have resulted in a pandemic of dead refrigerators within 36 months of usage. LG is overwhelmed with service requests and despite their warranty they are unable to resolve issues in a timely manner. I would recommend against any LG refrigerator purchase until LG fundamentally changes their seal system design. My local retailer now refuses to work with LG due to all these problems and it has now resulted in me having to scrap my 3 year old LG fridge and purchase a new one. Not good.
If I sold refrigerators then I would want to sell Samsung too. They will be back after it breaks.
Own a lovely designed refrigerator model by Samsung but unfortunately like many and under a class action lawsuit, the ice maker was negligently designed. I see in their 2020 models Samsung continues to use the same failed design of ice maker. Due to mass production and cost ( infamous global market) with minimal competition, errors in production of goods is negligible and lawsuits a minor fine. Besides their is an industry for repair and a promotion to repeat the cycle, like by a new one….
I bought a Samsung family hub refrigerator paid almost 4k and it doesnt work, waiting for home depot to come and get it, thats another store.
Buyers be aware! We bought a Samsung refrigerator (not from this company) and had nothing but trouble with the ice maker. Service rep said it is a bad design. He installed the "updated" version and still we have issues. No more Samsung appliances in this house.
Never buy Frigidaire. Four ice makers replaced and two towers and still doesn’t work right. It is also their "Professional Series".
Absolute junk and they don’t stand behind their product and Lowe’s told me, "sorry there is nothing we can do to replace it".

Never ever buy a Samsung! There is a class action lawsuit against them. They have known defects, yet continue to sell their product. LG is no better. Stick with GE or Whirlpool.

There is currently a class action law suite against Samsung for faulty ice makers. All their refrigerators have the same ice maker. DO NOT buy a Samsung.

I bought all samsung in my house, the fridge is dead after 4 years,
after 1 years of normal use the icemaker jam and not work and samsung
know it and never fix it. the stove is cheap made, after 4 years the
light that show if still heat always stay on, the control are defective
and not precise, the door don’t close properly, the dishwasher is ok,
the washing machine as been replace because could explode. I will never
buy samsung again. People bought this brand because it have nice look.

Samsung makes beautiful appliances with bells and whistles. Too bad Samsung and LG are not dependable and breaks down a lot. Other brands are not the same quality of the past either.

All I can say is that Samung makes great products. However its best to buy appliances that are made by companies mainly making appliances, nothing more.
