I like the Onyx on paper, but one thung I dislike, and my feedback to you, is to be precise when saying "PlayStore" integration. Either say it has non-certfied PlayStore, or "ready to be enabled", in all cases it does not seem to be official. I am frivolous about using something not certified. Similarly Onyx has some reddit threads about not sharing source code for GPL usage. I inow there are possible benign and bad reasons for not being PlayStore certified, though, I do not know the case for Onyx, nor many other Android-based with not enabled PlayStore eReaders. Lastly, being old school, I do wonder how these device operate or be supported in 5 years or longer. If nothing else, thinking that 10 year old Kindles work, is at least reassuring…I guess for Android, it would probably be the same fate as an old iPhone: the App would freeze at an old version, which is probably acceptable.

Why do you even review these ones with reflective screens proprietary OS’s and other garbage? Some of these shouldn’t even be on here.
So the first two mentioned are actually worthless duds but they are hyped as being in the top 5??? "Rarely crashes…." Wow…wonderful news for the #3 The also ran spot has noticeable issues and is limited…..what could the #1 spot actually do to outperform the last 4? Explode in your hands or in your carry on bag on your flight? Oh,,,the #1 ereader costs more than a tablet with more capabilities. This video smells, nay, sticks of advertising money.

If the cons outweigh the pro’s on some of these, why are they a part of this video? I thought the purpose of a Top 5 list was to have stuff where the pro’s outweigh the cons by quite a bit!

Amazon acabou de lançar o Kindle paperwithe 2021, decepção é a palavra que o resume. Só aumentaram um pouco a tela eM relação ao anterior. Esperava no mínimo uma nova tecnologia, sem querer demais até colorido. Quem sabe em 2050. 😕

It is a great sorrow for me that it’s really hard to find a good e-reader for me at a reasonable price in my country as a student but I like to read my books on an e-reader.

If an ereaded doesn’t have an SD card slot I’m not interested, the max internal memory they ever seem to go to is maybe 32GB if you are lucky. I read both books and manga, this limits me to carry maybe 2 large manga series and a handful of books. Give me an SD card and I can fit all my reading material on one device!

Enquanto, a concorrência já tem melhor memória, tela colorida e valores relativamente próximo ao Kindle top, porém com pouca saída e pouco divulgado; A Amazon nada de braçada com os cacarecos.
A melhor forma de haver realmente mudanças e forçar uma atualização do Kindle seria o boicote ao produto diminuindo consideravelmente as vendas. Porém, isso não vai ocorrer. Porquê? Muitos acham que só existem o Kindle pra ler livros eletrônicamente.
A mídia e redes sociais, ao falar sobre a Kindle automaticamente está divulgando a marca e modelo, os revil e vídeos a respeito na internet em sua maioria são e-book da Kindle.
Estou partindo para um tablet pq 32gb qualquer tablet vagabundo tem, com o valor de 890 reais tem muita opção de 64gb e já temos aplicativos que lêem e-book no Android. Telas coloridas com alta definição leve, iluminada, maior e mais confortável para leitura, controle de brilho, e executam outras funções, além do Kindle. Os PDF é muito melhor de ler, processador muito mais rápido. Quanto a bateria, não é problema, uma vez que carregamos todos os dias os nossos celulares, temos sempre uma tomada próximo e carregadores portáteis. No fim é muita propaganda pra tão pouco benefício.

If you have a device on a list of "the best of the best" where you state "the cons outweigh the pros", it should not be on that list. It implies there are 4 readers worth buying, and all others released this year so far are a net negative.

Were are all of the 9" readers. A DVD case is 9" and I think that’s the ideal size.
