Where are the 5.1 and up? Totally left out for home theaters and console players.

BS – none of these can touch Yamaha’s MSP7 (for example) near-field studio monitors; as used in professional recording studios from LA and Nashville to London (such as Abbey Road Studios).. In a balanced signal path (after DAC e.g. Antelope Audio’s Galaxy 64) and with a professional speaker management system (eg. dBx PA+ or similar) none of the crap described here comes even remotely close in fidelity, presence and sound field. "5 best" is complete BS, not even in the top 100. None of this garbage is remotely ‘audiophile’ level much less professional level reproduction.

Never ever Logitech speaker for me again. My z5500 and z906 died right after the warranty time. I have curreently an edifier r2730db, good sound and still kicking but too freaking huge for my table. Now I need something else.

  10. Kris Wheeler on February 13, 2021 at 11:06 pm

PRO!!! Everything he said about the Logitech z623 was spot on. They sound very good for movies and for music. While watching movies you can hear surround sound all around you like you were listening to a 5.1 system with very nice bass. Crisp and clear music and will for sure fill a small room/ bedroom with all the sound you need, pretty loud! I got a call from my neighbors the next day asking if i would keep the volume down a little.. I wouldn’t recommend them for filling a large room or for a home theater system though, perfect for just listening to them a few feet away from you. When I heard them I couldn’t believe how good they sounded, and especially for $150, the price I paid at the Best Buy in the USA. They are very loud and don’t distort at all when turned up to about 95 percent. CON!!! I had them for 3 weeks and the left speaker is way more quiet than the right speaker already, not sure what happened, also the subwoofer suddenly stopped producing the power it came with and is not hitting all the notes like it did out of the box. I’m going to bring them back and try the Logitchz906 for $150 more and almost twice the speaker power also with a few more watts of subwoofer power. Note I think if i didn’t play them so loud they would have lasted longer.
