These are the best TV shows of the decade! We decided for fun to come up with a personal list of our favorite scripted TV shows or limited series of decade defining shows. Our primary rule was that the TV series must have broadcast most of its episodes over the past 10 years. With that criteria, we came up with a list of nearly 40 shows. To trim that list down to 20 and to give the people more of a voice, we’ll be using the average audience score on Rotten Tomatoes to countdown the Top 20 New TV shows that defined the decade.

banshee and justified are a couple of the best things ever on tv. game of thrones is like watching an awesome movie that doesnt bother to make an effort to have an ending. walking dead has some of the best moments on tv, then the writers do their best to make up for that with all the lame crap they put in most episodes. sons of anarchy was a series about a bunch of bikers that spent most of the scenes hugging each other or other bikers. some good moments, otherwise.

Mindhunter is the only good original Netflix serie now that House of Cards is over (the rest is overrated as fuck). I saw Happy Valley like 2 years ago, really cool show. Justified and Mad Men bored me out of my skull!!! I dropped them after season 1, and they’re like 7 or 8. How the hell are so famous??? I don’t get it. And Hannibal it’s extraordinary, it’s my top 5. First season is not the greatest? You’re drunk, dude. I saw the rest of the TV Shows (except for a couple of the honorable mentions) and loved them all. Best wasted hours of my life.

Although all these selection are subjective i would like to chime in tho breaking bad being number 1 cant be mad at cause it is outstanding. But for me the one show that has yet to be topped is spartacus!

I agree that s8 of got was utter trash but not including it in top 20 is a crime. The previous seasons are enough to compete with breaking bad.

honestly speaking, i have not seen any of these tv shows coz im more into shows like Supernaturals, Grimm, The Witcher, Flash, Arrow, Siren, Warrior Nun.

Love your selection of series/shows, loved Person of Interest it’s super, Broadchurch great acting, love Fargo, Narcos is really worth watching. Bekey Blinders my favourite. Mindhunter is super acting is really great. Happy Valley is really worthy of viewing. Chernobyl, was brilliant. Breaking Bad is just brilliant. You left out a superb one Tunnel, ran for three seasons and is brilliant the acting is superb
