Top 10 PSP Games
The PSP represented PlayStation’s first major foray into the world of handhelds. As the most powerful handheld at the time, it introduced a number of memorable games based on existing PlayStation franchises, some impressive third-party support, and a format that has stood the test of time and been a hallmark of technology since, the UMD.
OK, no, UMD’s may not still be, or ever were, quite the industry standard, but the PSP still delivered on a number of incredible games throughout its life. Looking back on that little console, we decided to cull together a list of the ten best PSP games of all time, prioritizing games that took advantage of the hardware and represent the ingenuity of developers to bring some amazing franchises to handheld life. So, without further ado, here are our top 10 PSP games of all time.

LocoRoco and Patapon 2 were the shit! Also Battlefront, Hot Shots Golf, and Force Unleashed were a lot of fun!
Good list for me, since I’ve bought a used PSP last year with some used games. Already have some of this list’s games. I also recommend Final Fantasy Dissidia.

God I actually remember owning and playing some of these game until my PSP unfortunately broke on me, especially peace Walker. Favorite part for me about that game we’re those weird monster hunter missions
I bought my PSP just for Lunar Silver Star Harmony and it did NOT disappoint

I picked up a ps vita 1000 without charger for $50 over the weekend and finally got it setup yesterday. I can’t wait to play some of these at 2x.

Im sorry to say but there were other better games on the PSP. To be honest my all time favourite games were Breath Of Fire 3 and 4. I could play them over and over
Shout outs to the project diva games, patapon, locoroco, and the 3rd birthday (while a dispointing parasite eve game, it was still a pretty good portable action shooter) and the psp had the best version of ff1,2 and 4 and also persona 1 and 2.
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII and Tekken 6 are my favorite.

I actually hate my life, I own a psp but I’ve never played a single game on this list XD. My psp is still working tremendously and I’d definitely want to play persona 3 port, FF Crisis core and God of war ghost of Sparta if I ever find it. I have kingdom hearts but never finished it, I played my psp almost everyday in the past and I feel so bad to have not played them………
Strangely enough, I only owned 10 PSP games.
Tenchu Wrath of Heaven Japanese version is my favorite
PSP games still alive because of PPSSPP emulator. And some fan are translating Japan games.
Wish Sony would make a new PlayStation Portable. Actually feels like the full console experience on the go.

If there’s 2 games that deserve to be on the list, those need to be mega man powered up a remake and remaster of mega man 1, and mega man maverick hunter X, the remake of mega man X 1.

Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron was the best game I played on PSP, until the UMD broke. That game allowed ground, air and space combat all in the same match, and the story mode was pretty solid, it had the same vibe as force unleashed. A blend of that game and the OG battlefront 2 is what I wanted from the new battlefront games.
