Very idea that Metal Gear solid is not this list as No.1 is nonsense.
Seldom are open world games ….. story driven. Narrative driven games are usually linear. Open world games have usually a weak main story (if any) and very slow (story) progression due to the many side quests. The most underrated story driven game is "a plague tale innocence".

I see horizon zero dawn comments but this game is nothing special. Common, repetitive open world game with mediocre story, but I know this kind of games are very popular.
The last of us is a deserved number 1. Part two is somewhere between position 1544678542 and 2233422345 on the list.
Got a war had good graphics the storyline lacked the whole game lacked except for the graphics the Dynamics fighting all of it sucked.

Bought PS4 console last Friday as I’ve only had xbox360 and xbox1. Basically I wanted to get a VR headset as it’s now in the CEX for under £100. I picked up the last of us remastered as I’d heard so much about it, and also getting used to PS4 control pad. I was gutted when to my surprise it ended last night after a week of playing it. The best storyline ever. I’m surprised your top 10 didn’t include the assassins creed series, far cry series and the mafia series. 3 games I feel have brilliant storylines, and are excellent single player games. Loving your reviews and as a 56 year old gaming Nanny found it really helpful. Now I’m off to CEX to see what I can purchase after your reviews.
The Last of Us is the most overrated game on the PS4. Honestly, I do not understand how people are so in love with this game. Witcher 3 beats it BAD.
