If Verizon offered this in inexpensive payments or a free upgrade like they do for the Pixel 6, I would love to have one of these. But I would have to buy this outright and I’m not willing to pay the price of a nice laptop for a phone.

My frist phone was a Sony Xperia Z2 I had unitl the charging port stopped working then switched to iphone and hated that I’m back on Android an okay Chinese phone but that z2 such a great phone really the only thing holding me back from going back to Sony is the price
Great and true review, i feel same and ill always go Sony, i still own XZ premium and the beating it can take is amazing, even took 11 minutes submerging in sea shootink 4k video on vacation 2 years back 😎 yeah its old bit still watching yt videos on 4k blows you away… and i still own noise canceling headphones from Z2 model which was back then without pair… and i could go on.
I had the xperia xz1 and xz3, both excellent phones; but sony only gave ONE android upgrade? Such expensive phones and then sony gives this as a thank you. Disrespect 👎🏿
I purchased my first Sony phone back in 2017. Never looked at other brands since. Oh, and the ability to remote play games from my Playstation is an awesome feature.

Samsung user here and I used to have 2 Sony phones, the Xperia z3+ and the Xperia z5 (they sucked). Not only did they extremely hot enough to fry an egg but the service centers also suck here in my country (india). I’m loving my note 10 plus so far
Volta cables suck, try getting that little tip out your phone or whatever they are built crap
Split screen feature on right side of screen near bottom so you can reach all app with thumb
After having had the Xperia 1 for the last couple years I also don’t think I would ever want to go back to a non 21:9 ratio phone. The tall screen makes feeds so much better because you can see so much more by default on the tall screen. Ya know like Twitter, reddit, Facebook feeds, news feeds. It’s way better everyone talks about the aspect ratio being great for movies but it’s great for most of the things you use a mobile device for. I love it.
You’re the only person I’ve seen that acknowledges that it’s not the resolution of a typical 4K screen. I was baffled when all the other big reviewers failed to mention that

I wish the carriers like T Mobile carried this phone that I could pay monthly on like my Note 20 Ultra 5G. It’s BAD ASS phone but most people can’t outright afford it. I would switch from the Note to this ALL DAY LONG. It’s unfortunate. This I believe is why no one has it.
Everything Linus wanted. Yet I guarantee that he doesn’t use this phone.

I bought the phone on the recommendation that it is ideal for audiophiles, all that might check out fora a great deal of the specs, but once again a smartphone fails at satisfying an audiophile because the max volume is just so pathetically weak. Sony’s phone fails even before it gets started. No one is going to damage their hearing if there were an additional 7 – 10 decibels available. Samsung and Apple failed instantly also. . So, LG’s V60 thinQ and the ASUS ROG Phone are the next phones on the chopping block, let’s see if it can even make it out of the starting blocks. It appears that Dongles are just going to have to be a way of life, that’s a sad pathetic thought. iFi’s Go Blu Bluetooth Amplifier is the ultimate solution so there is some form of hope left.
I have an Xperia 1. It’s an old phone now but it still has 4k Oled display, 21:9 aspect ratio, same design as this minus the headphone jack and I totally love this phone. My first Sony Phone. Will definitely buy Mark IV when jt comes.

Samsung got rid of the ability to do expandable storage literally just because it was ‘insecure.’
