With your health & immune system being more important than ever, it’s important to be aware of your body metrics. Not only that, but it’s also important to have the ability to track your progress when you workout, consume more water, etc. That’s where the Health Mate app comes in and helps you track all of this important info + plots it all on satisfying graphs for you to easily see your progress through the months/years.

I’ve only had my Body+ for about 2 months, but I can tell this will be highly effective and useful for the next 12-18 months when I bulk up & cut. The Body+ also looks fancy in my bathroom, so that’s always a plus!

  2. Abhinav Sachan on November 30, 2021 at 12:20 pm

Thumbs up if you think Brandon looks like Kenny from We’re the Millers Movie ?

  3. Steven Michels on November 30, 2021 at 12:20 pm

Will Withings send me a free scale if I make a video for it, too?

  4. Raven on November 30, 2021 at 12:22 pm

Do I have have to launch the APP everytime I weigh? My current Xiaomi needs to open app before its readings get into Health… If I weigh without the app, it just shows the reading on the scale, but no healthkit integration, app must be open

  5. Ianis Giannis on November 30, 2021 at 12:23 pm

are u really under 12% body fat :O

  6. Psycho Thinker on November 30, 2021 at 12:23 pm

In Android The body fat percentage do not appear on app just on scale

  7. Get Your Fitt On on November 30, 2021 at 12:24 pm

It is worth to say the accuracy of the measurement of the muscle mass and fat percentage isn’t great! This can differ from person to person the best way is to use body fat callipers.

I actually weigh myself at least once every 14 days. I also have a smart weight, but not that smart at all!! It has up to 5 profiles, and everybody can see them… Not great at all! I actually paid around $150 for my scale, and it doesn’t have an amazing app that works with it. Mine also use up batteries like crazy! It’s also awesome it’s working with your health app. I know they say patience is a virtue, but that doesn’t work with me at all! I can see what you mean, when you can set a reminder to you for motivation, but let’s hope it gets inter graded with time, so we don’t have to use other apps for that 🙏🏼 I think this video was great… Especially during these days, where we have a lot more time on our hands 👍🏼 I’m gonna buy this scale for sure, so thanks 👌🏼

Oh boy, when will people finally understand that scales CAN NOT measure body fat, bone mass and muscle muscle! These measurements are just completely wrong and unreliable. All the scales can do is to tell you about you bodyweight, that’s it, period. Not even the most advanced measurement methods for fat/bone/muscle mass (like DEXA) are accurate, and certainly not a "smart scale". Don’t waste you money one them!

Dude how are you so intuitive? Aria just played out and currently researching the Withings. thanks for the info.

Of course the offer was not available in Australia. This model retails AU$180 (incl tax, US$115) here. I thought I would check out the various retailers listed on the Withings AU web site. Harvey Norman currently has it for 20% off (AU$144)!

  18. Shay Lavi on November 30, 2021 at 12:38 pm

Still not my kind of motivator. At the end of the day it all comes down to what you eat and if you train. The scale is like a judge and if you don’t train or eat properly from any reason, at some point in time you’ll just stop using it. If you want a real game changer you should try the Freeletics app

Great device and beautiful app. Only issue I have is that it doesn’t seem to sink my sleeping records from my Apple Health information. I have pushed all the needed buttons and for example my ZERO INTERMITTENT FASTING app does track all the info from Apple Health (through my Apple Watch). But I can’t seem to get that info into my Health Mate app although the desktop version of the Health Mate app does show the possibility to track sleep. Any thoughts on that?

  21. Isaac Merriman on November 30, 2021 at 12:43 pm

Couldn’t agree more Brandon I actually purchased the scale when I moved out of home at the beginning of the year and haven’t looked back! Awesome video as always

Best review of the scale I’ve seen yet. Really great that you included the importance of the companion app and how it syncs with Apple’s health app and the Apple watch. Thanks!

  25. paul ward on November 30, 2021 at 12:45 pm

  33. Lionheart on November 30, 2021 at 12:51 pm

In 20 years time when I am no longer here you will love looking at that 150 lb data so take an image of it now and frame it. Thanks for your video’s.

  34. Rolig on November 30, 2021 at 12:52 pm

The body fat measures etc aren’t exact to everyone not knowing, could show 10 on this scale and 20 on another.

But as long as it’s consistent then it’s good because you know if you lost or added fat.

All good about the scale and app…except for body fat. It is reporting (for me) way off. I eat at a deficit and some mild weight lifting daily….so, i am losing weight. 1st Issue: scale is way off, I’m 28%+ body fat, it claims I’m 24%. 2nd issue: the weight i lost he attributes it to muscle mostly (which usually is common for more people)…but almost impossible for me. My progress is very slow (by design) with around 100g/week but if you look at the fat chart you get swings from 23% to 27%…which is not mathematically possible. So my advice…don’t plan around what this scale tells you about fat&muscle…you should stick with the weekly trend as an indicator
