undertale and the bloodborne series that you just finished are my comfort watches. the personalities that you give to the characters in undertale cannot be matched, and the charisma that you have in bloodborne never fails to make me smile šŸ™‚

I would watch Jack play all of these games, even revisit them. Especially Pokemon Blue. I feel like Jack has never really played anything like Pokemon on his channel, and it would just be another giant nostalgia trip like Spyro or MGS that everyone who enjoyed those games in their childhood would adore watching their childhood youtuber play them. I would watch Jack play any game, even pong. His commentary and bombastic personality alone is enough to make me watch a 2 hour video, regardless of what game or subject it’s about. It’s not about the games, it’s about watching other’s experience with the game and see how it differs and relates to yours. It gives you a sense of community, and how everyone who loves that game comes together to just well, nerd out about it. I loved this kind of video from you Jack, in fact you should go up to Top 20 next.

Jack, have you ever played kingdom hearts? I think you might like. šŸ˜Š

Jack man, you missed out on the Gaming Giant Halo, Halo is one of the greatest games of all time, from living as the legendary Masterchief to watching Noble Team die, as there’s nothing you the player can do about it. Halo has never, and will never be surpassed, because how deep and expansive the lore is, from how the covenant formed to the horrific lore of the Flood to the fall of reach to the dark backstory of the Spartan II program.

one thing I would love to see older youtubers maybe bring back in this desire to relive the glory days is couch gaming with friends remind the industry of the fun that can be had face to face and the memories that can be made with a group of friends over. game

Thereā€™s a mistake I mean at least my opinion. Whereā€™s Halo 3, itā€™s probably one of the most memorable game ever. And it was an amazing experience.

I was surprised to see Undertale would be on his list of favorite games until I heard what it means to him and I’m really glad it is. Personally, it’s my favorite video game because of how I got into it, but I wouldn’t’ve been hurt if he left it off because obviously we all have different opinions, but I’m glad he still likes itšŸ˜Š

  20. SSJMatt on May 5, 2022 at 7:30 pm

Undertale was the first game I remember seeing jack play and loved him ever since. I would love to see him play pokemon blue, or any pokemon game for that matter. (There are some real gems if you never played those jack, especially generations 3 through 5) though pokemon silver is my all time favourite, soul silver even more so, except you couldn’t get ho-oh or lugia as soon as you got the wing.

  21. Spamus100 on May 5, 2022 at 7:31 pm

If I had to rank my top 10-12 favorite games, I’d probably say……
    1) Metroid Prime
    2) Twilight Princess
    3) Super Metroid
    4) Spider-Man PS4
    5) Metroid Dread
    6) Hollow Knight
    7) Sonic Mania
    8) Kid Icarus Uprising
    9) Xenoblade Chronicles/Undertale [TIE]
    10) PokƩmon Black/White/Black 2/White 2

This list used to look pretty different, but the past couple of years have really impacted what my favorite games and favorite kinds of games are.

Also, I’d do an honorable mention but I’m gonna assume y’all don’t have 90 minutes lol

  22. Damon: What if? on May 5, 2022 at 7:35 pm

  25. Irive on May 5, 2022 at 7:37 pm

You’re talking about great games and shit, but u didn’t include god of war, wtf

  26. adenzxc on May 5, 2022 at 7:38 pm

FFIX is one of the most underrated games in my opinion. It was unfortunate that it was released too close to FFX and the PS2 at the time. Its story, music, character development were top-notch, even till this day. I remember always rushing home from school just to jump on my PS1 to play this game.

  27. TheGrimOdyssey on May 5, 2022 at 7:39 pm

Man talks to himself about video games for 46 minutes

  28. jtoc07 on May 5, 2022 at 7:39 pm

    – bloodborne
    – red dead 2
    – last of us 1
    – uncharted 2

    5. Resident Evil VII: Biohazard

    9. The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time

  30. Mouse Potato on May 5, 2022 at 7:47 pm

Time Travel, Science Fiction and Giant Monsters. You must be a Doctor Who fan Jack.

  31. Qag3 on May 5, 2022 at 7:47 pm

I super hear what Jack’s saying about Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and how it could almost be replaced by any one of several other games. I think that 3/4 year window from 2007/2008-2011 gave us some absolutely mad games that, to this day, I’d bet are still a lot of people’s favourites or a game that certainly defined a large portion of their gaming heritage.

Stuff like Uncharted 2, Halo 3, Dead Space 1, Saints Row 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Dragon Age: Origins, CoD: Modern Warfare 2, Skyrim, Dark Souls 1, Witcher 1 & 2, Minecraft, Mass Effect 1 & 2, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Red Dead Redemption, and loads more.

  32. Nifuruc on May 5, 2022 at 7:48 pm

These 9 games influenced me the most over the past 30 years (no particular order):

    – Fallout 3
    – Final Fantasy 7
    – Mass Effect Trilogy
    – Chrono Trigger
    – X-COM
    – Zelda: Ocarina of Time
    – Megaman 2 & 3
    – Ducktales
    – Super Metroid

I get the faszination for Souls games and SoC in particular but I’ve been playing WoW and basically PC only games from 2003 – 2015 and just recently I played all the recommended games for PS3 and PS4… I really want to put Ghost of Tsushima and Spider Man on this list but they are "just" amazing games and didn’t influence me as the other games. I came to love 2D Souls games as well! I’m so glad that games like Ori, Monster Boy or Hollow Knight exist…

  33. Azimuth Chaos on May 5, 2022 at 7:48 pm

ehn… not a bad list… better then certain peoples lists *cough* golden joysick *cough*… I dont hate any of them here… just dont most of them… and love bloodborne… (winky smiley face)

  39. Gorillawhisperer on May 5, 2022 at 7:53 pm

I’ve played video games since the n64 and love playing a lot of different styles of games and im always switching consoles from xbox to Playstation and pc(currently playing ps5 and pc), but I never went through a whole series let alone multiple times like the uncharted series it’s just so good and the modern warfare imo is better than black ops but I do enjoy both

  40. Good Retro Gameplay on May 5, 2022 at 7:53 pm

I feel bad for ya, i like your videos, but i must say, if these are your favorite games of all time i suggest taking the time to deep dive the SNES and Genesis and SegaCD(non fmv games) and Saturn libraries. I can guarantee if you play through like the top 25-50 games for those consoles you will have a new games to take a spot in your top 10. Just make sure you are using an appropriate style controller for the games you can get 3rd party usb SNES and Genesis controllers for PC and other usb devices for pretty cheap if you look around for them. I see FF9 in your list of favorites, seeing that game in there shows me you can appreciate retro games so i bet there are alot of SNES Genesis and maybe SegaCD and Saturn games you would probably enjoy. 1 thing im impressed by is the fact there isnt a Zelda game in your top 10, Zelda is a good series up to ocarina of time but its not what it was now a days.

    3. Bioshock Infinite
    2. Half Life 2 and Episodes
    1. Half Life: Alyx Tied with Portal 2

What can I say, Valve has some damn good titles! Not to mention The Orange Box is what got me into games back in 2007

  45. Fajar Ramadhan on May 5, 2022 at 7:58 pm

Maybe because I’ve never played the Uncharted games, Aloy speaking to herself like that in the original game & the sequel didn’t annoy me at all.

  46. Jonathan Jollimore on May 5, 2022 at 8:01 pm

I find making lists hard and ranking stuff

  47. Devin Haddad on May 5, 2022 at 8:05 pm

Man I think it is so nice that Sean is so open and shares how he feels about these games. Video games are so much more than people realize

  48. nick on May 5, 2022 at 8:06 pm

ain’t no way you said uncharted 3 sucked

  49. Derkz on May 5, 2022 at 8:07 pm

Here’s a reason why maybe people like me who played FFVII first would be confused with falling for FFIX more. FFVII has a great storyline and really did reinvent the genre at the time. It also made a great prequel (Crisis Core) and we can still add to the story more (Advent Children) which makes it even more interesting.

Now to me, FFIX has a solid story that everyone can love without the burden of thinking the "what ifs" about prequels or sequels to it. FFIX started its story and ended it beautifully. Getting to the end gave a great sense of satisfaction.

    My two cents.

  50. Bubski on May 5, 2022 at 8:09 pm

what a trash example of gameplay in dark souls you are not a real fan and never will be 8:36
