I think I am gonna buy Verdun, Thank you I have been looking for a good game in weeks
I remember playing Toy Soldiers. I think there was a part where you had to defend a Labyrinth of barbed wire that enemy soldiers would crawl under while tanks would just ride through. I would kill the enemy soldiers by filling the little trenches with poisen gas. There was also this one sniper tower that you could use to gun down soldiers or vehicles.

Before coming to Battlefield 1, I came from Verdun. To see a guy survive a shot in the heart by a Lee Enfield… surprised me.
Valiant Hearts is probably my favorite story driven game ever
It may not be WWI, but to pass the time between now and BF1, I’ll be playing Rainbow Six Siege, just for that tactical feel.

Valiant Hearts was so sad. At the end I tried so hard not to cry. Especially when you realise Emile died thinking his son in law Karl (of whom he saw as a son) was dead. It was so sad 😭

Great Video. Now we are into the centennial of the Great War it is nice seeing the conflict get some attention. Valiant Hearts was an amazing title and blends the lines between game and interactive story.
Nice use of The Last Long Mile, also known as the Plattsburgh Marching Song. I am from there where the civilian training camps prepared men (the Plattsburghers) that would later go and fight when America entered the conflict.
