When i went to the comp school in the late 80’s and early 90’s even the nerds looked tougher than you. Damn why are the young ones so damn weedy these days.

  11. Alek on December 23, 2020 at 11:23 pm

cool video but all you guys literally post the exact same thumbnails. why do you all post thumbnails with either red eyes or a surprised look? this unfortunately is becoming a cookie cutter thumbnail look

  12. John Smith on December 23, 2020 at 11:24 pm

Can you point me towards a good prebuilt desktop to buy or laptop for gaming? My kids have been playing games on their new rigs they built, assassins creed valhalla, cod, etc. Any suggestions on a system ready to go thats affordable? Dual purpose for me would be able to do video editing and also graphic arts? I draw a lot in photoshop!

You CAN buy the stuff but it’s a massive rollercoaster. My journey began on 3080 launch day September 17 where I was able to put in a ‘pre-order’ with OcUK for the Asus 3080 TUF OC (about £720). I received it end of October – over a month later. On Black Friday I bought the rest, including an Asus TUF X570 Wifi with Ryzen 5 5600X motherboard bundle from AWD-IT and it wasn’t even over MSRP. I just don’t have the Ryzen retail box. Other headaches are the power supply, managed to get Corsair RM1000i on Scan which is now out of stock until April 2021 (but it had to be RMA’d due to making unpleasant noises when under CPU load). The G.Skill 32GB 3600 MHz CAS16-16-16-32 RAM is the one item where I overspent quite a bit, and it had to be imported from Alternate in Germany, but I wanted to make sure that the RAM kit appeared on the Asus QVL list – £227 oof! The SSD is Seagate FireCuda 520 1TB and the AIO Corsair h150i RBG PRO XT – both Black Friday deals on Scan. The case was the real highlight: Fractal Meshify 2. I did have Phanteks on my shortlist but the P600s is just a bit old school looking to me and I don’t know why there is not even a review on Gamers Nexus for that case?? It doesn’t appear in any of their comparison charts. And the P500a DRGB hasn’t got a reset button… My build has almost no RGB, only a bit on the pump, GPU and motherboard. Total cost: approx. £2070. Only minus point: no motherboard header for the front USB-C. LOLZ

Great video. Managed to pick up a 3080 and a 5800x last week through stock drop alerts myself, great combination but the 5800x is super hot and needs some manual intervention to remain stable on the current MSI BIOS.

2080 super, Ryzen 9 3900x, 32 GB RGB Ram, Nzxt AIO water cooler, Aurorus b550 master motherboard, NVMe Samsung SSD 970 SCSI Disk Device (932GB), Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 250 GB, Lian Li o11 Dynamic Case, 850 watt golf plus, Got this build with KB and mouse for $1350… But I haven’t gotten over 80-100 fps on high settings or over 110-130 consistently low settings Warzone. Was it a good deal? And how could I fix this. I don’t know much about PC’s

  25. SnazzBot on December 23, 2020 at 11:37 pm

Do you get any boost in performance if you team up a AMD CPU with AMD GPU?

  26. Stephen Dorsett on December 23, 2020 at 11:37 pm

I would become a youtoober and get it all for free lol

  27. PCTechHub on December 23, 2020 at 11:37 pm

Stocks are nuts right now. Put parts list together for two friends who were wanting PCs and everything on it was in stock when list was passed. Following day zero GPUs anywhere except for one or two 3090s.
To be fair it’s the same with so much online this year from clothes to food to toys. People are choosing online over physical shops.
    Great video as always

  28. REIGN on December 23, 2020 at 11:38 pm

How much for you to build me a pc specfically for playing cyberpunk in dolby surround sound on my cx oled? 🙂 very cool video. I find it ironic that bots are buying up computer parts, imagine one day technology starts taking over to a point where we are all just slaves.

  29. Gerardo Juarez on December 23, 2020 at 11:39 pm
