What are your thoughts on sound bars with integrate subs, specifically the TCL Alto 8i or Yamaha 109? I want a bar to put in a 16×20 child’s play area for Disney+/Netflix Kids and don’t see any real value in an option with an external sub. Just need something to fill the space in the sub $200 range.

Could you do a video like this for actual surround sound systems? I don’t know why it’s so hard to find reviews of actual full surround sound systems. I’m looking to upgrade my little home theatre and I’ve already got my mind set on a LG CX for the TV, but I’m wondering if I should upgrade my surround sound system too. It’s over 15 years old! So it doesn’t have ARC, eARC, or anything. It’s just RCA cables or optical in, which then lead out to the speakers which all use like bare twisty wires that you have pinch this spring mechanism open, stick the wire in, let go, and hope the connection works. It does not seem to be a very modern solution.
I would like to be able to hook up all my consoles at once and have each of them be capable of taking advantage of the surround sound, and not have to switch wires around. Because the TV I have right now does have an optical audio out port, but it just doesn’t seem to work. So I instead have the optical going straight from my PS4 to the surround sound system. And everything else can only use the TV speakers.
I just want a good 3.0 soundbar with subwoofer out

looking to get a nice tv and sound system … I’ve been using the same 45-47" tv from LG for the last 10 years… Looking at the LG GX and then potentially the Bose 700 Sound Bar and Woofer or if i go crazy with the Sennheiser Ambeo … I’m primarily a movie watcher not music

Sound bars and those styles of systems have disappointed me. Hell, I even spend around 600 for a ONN soundbar, with two speakers and a sub.. damn thing sounded just a bit louder then the speakers from my samsung.๐๐
