I keep hearing word about the HP Omen 15s screen flex. In most if not all reviews I’ve seen, everyone claims that the Omen 15 is an all plastic build. I contacted HP today, they informed me that new Omen 15 models are an aluminum "all-metal" build? You heard anything about this? Is the screen/lid truly as weak as everyone says ? I got the Omen 15 in my cart and I’m hesitant to pull the trigger.

In my opinion, though, whenever you talk about MacBooks, it’s crucial to mention that if, at any time, you’d need to fix your MacBook, you’re probably going to have to spend tons of money – way more than should have been necessary – due to Apple’s disgusting policies around repair. Also, I think it’s important to emphasize that almost all components of a MacBook are (intentionally…) non-upgradable. That should also be mentioned, of course, for with some other laptops (like some of the Lenovo ones you’ve mentioned, which have their RAM soldered on), but with Apple, it’s really their signature.
I have a 3k budget(has to include 3 year service plans) and I am a web developer. I need a computer that is versatile since my projects can vary. I’m not sure if I should pursue Mac or a windows machine. Of course if I go mac, I will get Mac 16. I do like to game but I’m not a hardcore gamer. If I choose to go windows, I’m thinking about Dell XPS 17. What do you think would be best?

Hows your opinion about asus vivobook 14 pro oled?? It has 16 gb ram -512SSD, i5 11th , nvidia GTX 1650 ?? And 2.8k display?? Am a master’s student ,and I also had asus zyphrus g14 with ryzen 5800u in my bucket list but choose not to just cuz it doesn’t had a webcam and it heats bad
Was ready to buy Asus Swift X until I saw your video mentioning the low contrast keys. I checked a Swift 3 in the store and I think this issue is even worse for developers and creators who use lots of hotkeys. Most people can type text mostly using muscle memory but if you need to use the other keys then productivity can slow way down if you have to look closely to find a key in say Blender.
Also the Swifts have really skinny right-angle (thus fragile) power plugs and I don’t think it would survive even one accidental tug on the power cable.
5:55 Lotsa laptops with hard to see keys. But then, it’s a simple fix with stickers.

Now THIS is a laptop shopping guide, I was skeptical seeing that "ULTIMATE" guide label because everyone nowadays says that but this was truly comprehensive. Touched on all points and not just gaming. The Legion Slim 7 really seems like the perfect bang for my buck, fell a few hundred dollars short when I really needed a new laptop and settled for the Legion 5 personally, the screen is amazing the ryzen chip is perfect for my Software Dev needs and 3050Ti gets me some good performance in casual gaming, and the port selection handle my 3 screen setup (Laptop screen included) easily! Im just sad its not as portable for the times when I have be mobile so I think I’ll definitely be getting the 7 later on
Thank you for another great review video. Would you consider reviewing laptops from System 76, Slimbook, and Tuxedo in the future? The hardware is really good and Linux, which is an option (if not the only one) on all of them, might be a great alternative to Windows and macOS for some people.

Thanks for the video. I’m a 10 year + Mac user but in my business, we use Microsoft 365. Not a fan of google workspace. But I’ve found mac + 365 to be an extremely buggy and unreliable combination, which is frustrating since I have a 16" macbook pro (amazing) and the new iMac that I also love. Do I need to just surrender and get a windows PC to stop the pain, and if so what do you recommend? Looking for speed and strong storage capacity. Your input would be very much appreciated.
