T mobile sold me 3 phones that didn’t work and refused to honor the warranty. They made excuses until the warranty was up. Now they are lying to me getting me a phone. I have been without service for a month now. They refuse to give me a pin to transfer to a new company. Its a friggin nightmare. STAY AWAY FROM THESE THIEVES. ANYTHING is better than trying to be with these guys. missed calls, missed texts… it is unbelievable they are in business.

Very disappointed. I called to get a new phone, I was told about the current program and ordered a Samsung A 53. I was then told it was not in stock and to call back tomorrow. After doing this each day for 4 days I was told the promotion was over and would have to pay $ 300.00 more for that model. A supervisor couldnt help.. Not a good way to run a business.. Eric N

The problem with it is that they cap the value at $800 regardless of the memory of the phone. In the UK they had a plan that would upgrade you to the top tier iphone similar to what you purchased, for example if you bought the highest memory, they would also give you the same phone.
So i needed my iPhone deleted from activation lock bcs I wanted using it to travel but it was not working I had to try Moe for the comment and Within 45min-1hr my iPhone was Activated..tha

Long story short, apple promised the t-mobile credits and never gave me them.
$500 down the drain and honestly I’m not even able to pay it.

I’m on the military magenta max plan and has had very much terrible experience with T-Mobile. The phone they sent my post office sent back with the AirPods and I ordered another one and they telling me I won’t get my money back for the down payment when they clearly told me trade in your phone and the other one is on them 🙄 it’s been since December and I call like everyday

To put it in simple Terms. If you mean removing the Activation lock so you can check the owner’s information in the phone, Yes *MOE* can make it work 100% guaranteed unless apple says so. But, you can bypass it by starting afresh like it’s a new phone. And to answer your question, yes my iPhone 7 was successfully bypassed using a paid service with network(calling and cellular data) you can even use iCloud just like a normal iDevice. For this to work the device doesn’t have be in lost or stolen mode or blacklisted if it is just forget. After the bypass you can turn on and off your device even put passcode and fingerprint BUT, no resetting and updating the device if you do that you’ll start afresh the whole process. The good part the severs remains with you if it gets locked again you can bypass it yourself given you still have access to the servers you originally bypassed it with. Bad part I was a customer and I don’t know what service the guy used. If you’re interested I can send proof (screenshots of the device) and the handle of the guy *MOE* who did the bypass so you can contact him just reply to this comment. And one more thing iMessage and FaceTime most of the time fails to connect so you’ll be using normal messages but everything else works.
NOTE: newer devices like iPhone 11 and 12 have chance of been bypassed guaranteed ones are XS MAX coming down..

What if they refuse to finance?
I find it a bit weird that on Tmobile’s website concerning trade ins, they say that doing it in-store gives you the benefit of getting the credit applied towards a transaction (like trading in your phone to upgrade to a new one, which should also work for specific promotions), but when chatting with one of their "experts" on that pop up chat thing, they tell me that it doesn’t get applied that way and it only gets applied on billing cycles.
So idk what to believe anymore

There are currently two ways of doing that: by the so-called "factory/IMEI unlock" – the price depends on the network your phone is locked to, or by using *MOE* -SIM type chip, the ones that you put under your SIM-card. They trick your phone into believing you’re using a SIM card from the network your iPhone is locked to.
The first way is usually more expensive, while *MOE* is cheap, but you can’t update you phone via iTunes(you’re gonna update your baseband too and you won’t be able to use gevey chips anymore), some people complain that they’re also experiencing network connectivity issues. There’s a whole ritual you have to strictly follow to get those signal bars, though. 🙂 Dialing a 112-type number, switching airplane mode on and off…et cetera. It’s not a very user-friendly method.

You shouldn’t have to trade in your iPhone or any phone for a upgrade especially if the phone is paid off they should just upgrade your iPhone for free each year a new one comes out
