Seems not that long ago when mobile phones were the same size as those smart fridges. Everyone was glad to have one though.

Here is my take on this. Its a damn refridg. The last thing I want to do is look at some high tech , un wanted , un needed screen in the morning when I first wake up. Also this is just more that can go wrong with the appliance. I speak from experience. I had high tech washers and dryers, they cost an arm and leg. I recently went back to basic kenmore style because I could work on them and find replacements parts. The old ones had circuit board technology when if you could find one to replace it were more then the cost of the appliance or close to it. My advise, buy nice and needed do not buy anything with heat sensitive controls or computer screens. Good luck
I want something that can give nutrition facts for any given plate of food. We probably aren’t even close to this being available in kitchens though

I as a joke put my Samsung Tablet on my fridge only to have it stick. WTF? How? Well it turns out that the Samsung Tablet has speakers that have large enough magnets that make the table stick to your stainless steel fridge. Don’t believe me? Go try it!! I have been using it for 2 years with no issues. Pretty cool! 🙂

Didn’t really answer the question of why satisfactorily. I’ve never find it straining to go shopping once a week or less often, your kid won’t die if they don’t see notes from you before going work- and ofc a lot of ppl don’t have kids, and it’s not a big deal walking to your front door to see who’s knocking unless you live in a mansion- I doubt Richard Branson is on his iPad watching this video.

Do NOT DO NOT!!!!! PURCHASE anything Samsung especially Refrigerators I’ve had 2 smart Samsung Refrigerators in the past 7 years YES 7 yrs & BOTH stop working…They replaced the first and would not replace the second as the warranty ran out even my Samsung washer and dryer are not working and of course no longer covered….this brand is very high tech but the quality is horrible

BTW: SUGGESTION HERE: Love to see more about affordable Solar Energy & batteries for homes and esp. the heating and cooling systems that will run effectively off the solar energy please (and of course fridges). I come from a hot country in summer – we have mild winters and would be awesome to know how to reduce our home carbon foot print as well as use smarter tech to save our planet.

I’ve gone through a rabbit hole trying to find out what processor are these family hub fridges are running on and why has no one tried to run a benchmark on it. Like isn’t it just a big tablet running some android mod, shouldn’t it be running an exynos chip inside and would it perform on geekbench even??!?
