Shadowrun 5e – Ropes of Rigging
Shadowrun 5e – Ropes of Rigging
Long ago, I was asked to make a video that was a more in depth look at rigging, the act of controlling vehicles and robots in Shadowrun.
I kind of went on hiatus before I got a chance to get around to it, which might’ve been for the best, since I learned a lot more about Shadowrun 5th Edition during that time.
So I present to you today, a video about how to command a robot army!
Music credits:
Intro – Victory Declared by Dr. 3AM
Outro – A Bit of Bounce by Dr. 3AM
All images used in this video that are not owned by Aaron der Schaedel are done so under Fair Use.
Thank you.
Missed your chance to call it "rope rigging"
It would be a good idea to give a good priority to Skills (and maybe Attributes) to mix Rigger with a bit of social skills?
Think in a Rigger with disguise that can talk his way into a place and release an army of spybots to locate every guard in the place/where is the package you are looking for/where the person you have to kill is.
Not split 50/50 but as a secondary role. It would be good? I like that idea
I really wanted to like your video but I just couldn’t listen to it, the music was too loud.
Now if I were to play a gnome rigger, weiging only 37kg, would there be a drone I could use as a flying motorcycle?
Music volume is a bit loud compared to your voice. Good info, but audio levels could use a bit of tuning.
Sweet videos. Gonna show my friends these before we get them started in char creation.
Don’t you need drone racks to be able to hold the dogs in the van? The van doesn’t seem to come equipped standard with drone racks.
@Aaron der Schaedel will u cover some things in rigger 5.0?
99% perfect, just highly recommend tweaking down the background music, but otherwise you do an exceptionally good job of conveying information without the bottom-of-the-barrel approach of reciting the books, word for word.
Question. If you can control insect size drones can you just do what black mirrors mechanical bees did and crawl into people brains? Is there a defense against this?
"…and never ever cut yourself a deal with a dragon."
Me: EXCUSE YOUR FACE SIR
well done.
