I can’t believe the air fryer didn’t make the list! It’s my most used appliance in my house (though I did just get a Ninja and am loving my first high speed blender!). I may have to look into a griddler.

I make all my grains in the instant pot. Rice is fantastic, Quinoa is not waterlogged like it is on the stove. I use 1 cup Quinoa to 1 cup water and cook for 1 minute. If you haven’t tried oat groats they are a great substitute for brown rice or steel cut oats. To make oat groats 2 cups oat groats to 3 cups water for 5 minutes. Let the pressure come down naturally and then let the pot go warm and let it sit for 2 hours. I also cook dried beans, soups, stews, steamed spaghetti squash etc. We would starve without it LOL.

I know you have one, and I’m surprised that Air Fryer wasn’t #1, #2 or #3. It would be my number one.

  11. Bessy Corrales on November 30, 2020 at 6:20 pm

Vitamix is the best money ever spent. I got a refurbished one and it’s perfect. A workhorse.

Where do you keep all of these appliances? Do you lift each one every time you make a meal? I wonder how heavy each one is.

  14. barbara vollmert on November 30, 2020 at 6:24 pm

OMG I LOVE YOU LIKE A GRILLDLER

  15. Tammy Lange on November 30, 2020 at 6:26 pm

It’s funny that you guys ended with "will Peef blend" since this is a hallmark of Tom Dickson who created Blendtec high speed blenders. I did a lot of research before I got my Blendtech blender & Twister Jar. I was impressed with the design and reviews as well as the price. I decided against the Vitamix because of the blatant patent infringement against Blentech for which they lost the 24M law suit. The twister jar is fantastic for nut butters, vegan ice cream, hummus and any other type of thick concoction I want to try. I also love my Instant Pot. I make organic soy milk yogurt every week as well and grains, beans and potatoes.

  16. T Smith on November 30, 2020 at 6:27 pm

Nothing says I love you more than a small appliance😂😉

  22. TS Courtney on November 30, 2020 at 6:37 pm

I’m surprised your sweet toaster/air fryer didn’t make the list! (I may be guilty of a bit of covetousness.)

  23. Wendy Eskelin on November 30, 2020 at 6:37 pm

OMG I’ve never seen that sheet maker- that would be awesome for zucchini to make lasagna. I still haven’t pulled the trigger on the instant pot ( not sure I would use it much ) I was thinking you might put the air fryer on there. I have been waiting to pull the trigger on this one for sure. Just because I have soo many small appliances and I get worried I won’t actually use it.. But I can’t find frozen french fries anywhere that don’t add some sort of corn derivative to keep the color or to not stick together. I was wondering if it makes good fries. Although you might be potato’d out. 🙂

  24. Larry Schulte on November 30, 2020 at 6:39 pm

you know you can use the instant pot as a crockpot.

  32. Justin Urrkunt on November 30, 2020 at 6:58 pm

You’re missing out on the obvious with your electric pressure cooker. I don’t have that brand but have another.

    POTATOES.

Fill up the container with Russet potatoes, add a little bit of water. Set it up on high pressure for 7-9 minutes.
You will not believe how tender the potato peels are. You’ll kick yourself for not about this at the beginning of your journey when you had to suffer through the tough skins of the reheated baked ones.

If you only use about 3/4" inch of water at the bottom, you can then mash the potatoes up in it and it’s the best mashed potatoes ever – with soft and thin peelings.

I don’t wash my potatoes good so that I can get some microbes from the slightly dirty potato to help my biome.

  33. michelle belle on November 30, 2020 at 6:59 pm

  35. Jenna Fairhaven on November 30, 2020 at 7:00 pm

Does Brian know that you can get vinyl military bomber plane decals for the kitchen aid? I also found Star Wars decals for my instant pot.

  36. Rabia Pirani on November 30, 2020 at 7:01 pm

Looking forward to a nice cream video! I have a vitamix but I find it difficult to figure out the ratio of bananas needed, esp for one serving.

  41. Sharon McVeigh on November 30, 2020 at 7:05 pm

Great video guys. I LOVE ❤️ my IP. I do my potatoes in it. I use the Steam function and they are delicious. I love the Delay timer. It’s awesome. I used to own a crock pot but replaced it with the IP. I prefer it. I must get a coffee grinder for my spices, I miss not having one. They are great. I enjoy your videos. You’re a fun couple. 😀👍😍

  42. bobby beckenrod on November 30, 2020 at 7:05 pm

please tell me where you get your tshirts!!! i love your apparel!!!

  43. Barbara Robinson on November 30, 2020 at 7:06 pm

Thanks for this video, it is greatly appreciated! I have been sheltering in place for 160 days, other than a few trips for essential things.
Of course I have been making masks, Doing sewing repairs and organizing, so my sewing machine and serger are high on my list.
I have been cooking and baking so much more and consequently blew up my 20 yr old Cuisinart Food Processor and my 25 year old Blender Kitchenetics machine. Based upon your advice (thanks) I just purchased a Vitamix, just like yours and I love it.
Anyway I needed this video because I am trying to decide if I need another food Processor or not. So far the Vitamix has done everything I could want. My old Kitchenetics machine does still mix my bread dough so maybe I will wait until it completely dies and then decide.
You two are an inspiration and I am so happy for your terrific weight t loss well done!
    Barbara.

  44. Elizabeth Heard on November 30, 2020 at 7:06 pm

Machine that sucks the air for freezing bags

  47. babtlb on November 30, 2020 at 7:09 pm

I have the exact spice grinder and love it. But I find it difficult to clean between grinding different things. Any tips on cleaning it? I don’t want my breadcrumbs tasting the peppermint when I grind peppermint tea before grinding breadcrumbs.

  48. Paw Lette on November 30, 2020 at 7:09 pm

I don’t use my crockpot anymore. The instant pot has a slow cooker feature. Much love. …. I’m putting a grridler on my list of needed appliances. Great video.

  49. Tammy Phillips on November 30, 2020 at 7:10 pm
