MY FAVORITE COOKWARE | best pots and pans worth the money (on black friday and cyber monday)

MY FAVORITE COOKWARE | best pots and pans worth the money (on black friday and cyber monday)

The best cookware worth the investment is durable, non-toxic and lasts a lifetime. My favorite brands of cookware from All Clad, Staub, Le Creuset and Lodge check all these boxes, and are made from materials including stainless steel, cast iron, class and ceramic.

Investing in cookware is like investing in the best Vitamix or other kitchen appliance. It may cost more money upfront, but it more than pays for itself over the long-haul.

So today, I wanted to deep dive into my cookware and chat about the different pots and pans I use the most, why I love them and why they’re worth investing in (or not investing in). This post isn’t sponsored by any of the brands you see highlighted, I’m just sharing what I truly love and use in the kitchen.

… Just one point about wood utensils… I’m beginning to use a lot of bamboo… It’s a great strong wood… Environmentally it replenishes at a tremendous rate… We will never run out of bamboo… And if possible I try to get bamboo products that are made in Japan/ my preference… You have a wonderful YouTube channel and do a very good job… God is good…

Have you ever try the Hexclad cookware?
    It’s really expensive.
I don’t know, is it a good investment or not?

I have Titanium Exclusive cookware and love it. It’s non-stick but coated with titanium, not tephlon. Best to wash pans while they’re still hot to maintain the finish.

    Thank you

Do you have video or blog on how to properly season cast iron?

  11. Leslie Smith on December 7, 2020 at 6:47 pm

Do you have any tips regarding how to cook on stainless pans without oil? Most of the time I only use nonstick because I’m minimizing the use of oil which isn’t healthy to use

  12. Katy Kehle on December 7, 2020 at 6:48 pm

You shouldn’t be coming up when I’m searching "always pan review." Please don’t use tags that don’t apply to your videos.

    Is this induction cookware?

  14. Ice Blue on December 7, 2020 at 6:51 pm

I would like to know your suggestion when choosing a dutch oven because it is heavy. I am thinking of buying only a small since for 2-3 persons but when I saw the no knead baking, at least 5.5 qts was recommended. What do you suggest? Thank you.

my mate likes copper skillets and I have all most been kicked out of the kitchen for cast iron happy cooking.

  16. Vanessa C on December 7, 2020 at 6:53 pm

I use nonstick because the other pans are difficult for me to use and I burn food typically 🙁 please do a video on how to cook with the other pans

  17. Myranda with a Y on December 7, 2020 at 6:53 pm

How do you take care of your all-clad pans? Do you season them?

  18. Paul Mignon on December 7, 2020 at 6:53 pm

    Go with lodge cast iron

  19. Pam C on December 7, 2020 at 6:55 pm

I just told my dad that I want a set of All Clad cookware for Christmas lol. I’ve already got the items I’d use the most. He has a set of All Clad already and they were the best pans and I could use them to make any and everything. Also there is nothing like good cast iron cookware. I have a cast iron dutch oven I use to make bread and soups and stews.

All Clad all the way. Buy the set D3 and add on as you need. The D5 isn’t worth the money heating is less responsive. If you must have a nonstick All Clad also has great nonstick pans which you can find the set on Costco’s website sometimes or individual pieces at marshals and tj max. The D3 pan is the last pan you will ever have to buy plus they’re American made!!!

  23. SC_Garage on December 7, 2020 at 7:01 pm

Very informative and clear straight to the point video. Thank you!

  24. Patti Jesinoski on December 7, 2020 at 7:02 pm

Not all-clad in made in USA. Larger and smaller pieces are made in tainted stainless steel in China.
Doubt? Research what is permissible to be put in mixture to be declared SS.

  25. Robert Notgrass on December 7, 2020 at 7:06 pm

Gen X is just as bad if not worse than PFOA. Don’t use non stick at all.

  26. Frank Summerlin on December 7, 2020 at 7:07 pm

I love cast iron and use it every day. But Lodge cast iron is some of the worst cast iron on the market. Seek other brands with smooth casting surfaces that season properly.

How do you fry an egg on a stainless steel frying skillet? Is there a secret for non stick?

  32. Cindy VH on December 7, 2020 at 7:16 pm

I recently bought a new made in carbon steel for $20 at a thrift shop. So excited! I will slowly start buying pots that last a lifetime

  37. sue on December 7, 2020 at 7:20 pm

What do you think about the instant pots and air fryers that are on the market? I don’t have either. Although I do have a slow cooker and a stove top pressure cooker, I still don’t know if I want invest in one of those appliances. I do have my eye on the instant pot duo nova though.

  38. keepinitreal on December 7, 2020 at 7:20 pm

A lot of people are complaining about the stainless steel ones being difficult to clean and that food sticks to them no matter what oil they use. Do you have any tips on combating that? thanks!

  40. mrpipps90 on December 7, 2020 at 7:27 pm

There’s really no scientific evidence that we need to worry about non-stick pans. Adam Regusea does a good video on them.

  41. Hanami ya on December 7, 2020 at 7:27 pm

Hi, i just came across to this video, but I’ve also see some internet controversies on enameled cast iron that could give Lead and Cadmium contamination… is it true?
I’m kinda sceptical but I really don’t understand any of this, I’m afraid I couldn’t get the right information when searching about it

  44. Eb Knows on December 7, 2020 at 7:29 pm

I am currently looking for new cookware. My Emeril set is 15 years old and it just started losing its non stick coating. I will choosing stainless steel this time.

  45. Zero on December 7, 2020 at 7:30 pm

Now real question. Do they ship worldwide. Lol

  46. Patti Jesinoski on December 7, 2020 at 7:31 pm

Most enameled cast iron name brand pieces now all made in china.

  47. looovegoodmusic on December 7, 2020 at 7:32 pm

Lisa, a year later, I’m re-reviewing your video and I have a completely silly question. If Staub or LC are both great options, is there a reason to use exclusively them (+cast iron for steaks, etc). In other words, why would I need stainless steel pans at all (pots are a different story, I most use steel)? Thanks!!!

  48. Thao Nguyen on December 7, 2020 at 7:33 pm

Could you please make a video of how to care for cast iron skillets ? Thanks much !
