Ken, great kitchen and video. I am interested in where you got your toe kick lighting under the cabinets. I think that is my favorite designer touch in your kitchen in addition to the spice drawer next to your 48" range. 1. Could you let me know where I would buy those toe kick lighting. 2. Did you put connect all the toe kick lights on one switch or did you wire two areas (outer kitchen and island)? Did you put the Toe Kick light switch on the side of the island or on the wall. 4. I assume on the toe kick lighting on the kitchen island you just ran the lights on the three sides (not the chair side)? Again, great kitchen design, the Zline Appliance package is very affordable yet looks like a $10,000+ appliance package. Last question, are the walls in your house a smooth/flat texture? I couldn’t tell. I am a fan of smooth textured walls but I haven’t figured out a cost and labor effective way to do smooth walls on new construction? If you know the best way, I would gladly pay you a consulting fee to tell me what to do and how to do it (is it 5/8th rock vs 1/2 inch?, then roll plaster, then sand, then roll, then sand??? I feel like there is an easy way to accomplish smooth (level 3 or 4) without braking the bank in labor costs. Sorry for the long comment. I will gladly pay you for your time and knowledge on the toe kick lighting and smooth wall texture installation and application. Thanks George
