I made a cheap and easy to build ambilight solution for PC. Differently from other solutions you don’t need extra hardware to make it work, just an ESP8266 and a led strip.

As much as I love your review and as much as I love the product I am not spending $339 on some LED light strips that react to my television. That’s just me personally though, you guys enjoy if you’re able to get that. Honestly, I think this is a brilliant idea. I just don’t think that it needs to cost that much for this kit.

The lights look awesome what kind of tv do you have and what cables are you using quality great.
Get a Govee led strip and also get a free govee home app and only for 20-60$ depends on which kind of strip
I cant believe they are looking $330 for this . I wouldn’t pay that ill stick with the standard usb light up led strip on the back . Total rip off in my opinion .

I do not watch TV in pitch black room. Because the screen already bright at 0 nits, and if I install these LEDs, I might get epilepsy or something. Besides, it is too distracting. This stuff is ideal only at hotels or clubs.
I think if you had the strip close to the back edges of the TV you would have better light dispersement or fanning of light. Meaning Put them on the out side of your black strip.
What about if you have a screen that is 120”? Lightpack only fits up to 90”. :-/
