Of course, the unit looks so clean inside, show me after chicken or steak is grilled…. cleaning all the grease afterwards.
What do you use for exterior/interior clean up? I have the 800xl smart oven and was very impressed by the quality of their products and now looking into getting a new MW.

yeah, try putting metal foil in a microwave oven. I did that on accident once. It was exciting. I think the larger metal fixtures aren’t a problem, though I’d never try that unless the manufacturer said to do it.

Did you try it out first to see how hot the outsides get? Burn your fingers hot, or just warm to the touch? I need to replace my 30 year old Kenmore Micro/Convection oven and it sits in an opening under my counter top. It doesn’t get that hot to the touch after baking for an hour. Your comment would be apprehended.
Do you know the inside height? How tall a cup off coffee could I put on the turn table and microwave it successfully?

Nice custom mount. Have you had any problems with overheating or burning down the place when using convection for medium – longer periods? Generally I thought convection microwaves can’t be built in for that reason, or do you have an extractor fan?
How robust is the pan with legs? It looks like it has a non stick coating, but will it stand up to almost daily use and washing or will the coating likely chip pretty quickly?

I really like it but the thought of having to clean burnt on grease spatters etc , in that tiny space, with that heating element on the top is a turn off.
We got rid of microwave oven from home…now Brembo want me to repurchase.,….so much quality is put in to, protect dangerous rays and let consumer enjoy….cool…
i don’t see a self-cleaning function, so if you grill a steak, with all that fat splattering, how do you clean it?
That’s an important issue, because even roasting a chicken is going to cause fat splatters that have to be removed. Yes, it’s convenient, saves a lot of countertop space, but it also indicates you have to have 8" clearance all the way around for it to work properly, which could be a deal breaker for a lot of people.
I love Breville, and 99% of my kitchen is Breville, however as great as this unit it, it has only a one year warranty, and then there’s the clean-up issue.

What is the diameter of the pan and turntable? Can you easily boil a cup of water?
My Samsung has the broiler and microwave, but I wish I would have waited for this one. Breville make great products, love our toaster with the “a bit more” function. Love your videos.
I did the same thing (Ding) installing my dishwasher.
This kind of thing used to drive me crazy.
Now I don’t stress over it.

Bob, Breville claims this unit should be only on a countertop likely due to the amount of external heat it produces. You placed it inside a cabinet, do you have any concerns about heat dissipation?
Doesn’t it need 8 inches all around for ventilation ? How is it mounted in cabinet, doesn’t it get hot?

The manual clearly states that it needs to have an 8" clearance in the back and on top of the unit. How were you able to get an 8" clearance with your install?
A real overview of a product. So the question I have is, when does the turntable rotate (besides when using the MW)? how wide of a container can be pleced in it? Only round (or the glass plate can be removed)? Thanks! – I do have Breville’s convection oven at the moment! -td
Air fryer is great mate good choice I am using it too…to get rid of fats and oil, I feel good…no need to drink high blood pressure pills any more.

Is there any safety issue with the 3 in 1 idea? Love the idea and the product. But what happens when you leave plastoc bowl in there thinking you gonna microwave but you end up air fry melting the bowl? Or microwave the metal frying pan by accident?
How or who did the cabinet installation including the trim kit?

Lovely video. I won’t buy anything I can’t clean. No where can I find how to do that. If you convection-cook a steak in it, you will get cooked on polymerized grease all over the stainless interior. I’ll bet there’s no self-cleaning function. Next, how do you get the same stuff off the window with no scratches? I’ll bet it’s not glass! If you figure it out, let us know! Thanks!
