I think the greatest feature of this phone is the ability to purchase a phone from Apple at below $400 without worrying about when they will stop providing iOS updates for it.
Not sure about the old UI though I think Apple has moved on from Touch ID on phones, I would call this a parts bin phone. It is the only iPhone at that price point so you can’t go wrong buying it.

Nah. Not a big deal. Who cares about the chip ? If people want a great compact smartphone with a "new" desing just buy the s10e. Small, and does have an ultra wide lens, and wide. And ofc an oled screen with no massive bezels.

Those iPhones are butt ugly… You are better off buying an used iPhone 8 it literally has the same design. Apple’s iPhone SE is using a 4.7-inch LCD display that’s not even HD (1334×750). I’m just gonna wait for the Google’s Pixel 4a will offer up a 5.8-inch 1080p OLED display. That will offer not only more viewing space, but also better contrast and, possibly, better brightness too. OLED is the same type of display Apple uses on its high-end iPhones.

I‘m using an iPhone 8 for the past two years and I‘m still pretty happy. Performance is still good & the camera on the SE is only a little better.
