iPhone PAYMENT PLAN Review 2021 (Is This the BEST WAY to Buy IPHONE 12 PRO??)

In this video, I will be talk through an iPhone Payment Plan Review 2021. I will discuss if this is the best way to buy the iPhone 12.

I recently upgraded to the new iPhone 12 Pro and I wanted to find information on the iPhone payment plan through Verizon Wireless. I wanted to see the best way to buy the iPhone 12. This video focuses on the design Verizon payment plan. There are other options like the iPhone upgrade program.

I could not find good information so I wanted to make a video discussing my experiences and the route I decided to take. My only experience has been with the Verizon iPhone payment plan. There is also an Apple iPhone payment plan and an Apple iPhone upgrade program. I do not have any experience with the Apple payment plan or the iPhone upgrade program.

I purchased a new iPhone 12 Pro and with the device payment plan I only needed to pay the sales tax on the new iPhone and a $20 activation fee. When the iPhone 12 Pro was delivered, my old iPhone 11 Pro is shipped back to Verizon.

I paid off 50% of my iPhone, or $500, and do not need to pay any additional fee when sending it back. My monthly payment stays the same at $41.66.

Last year, when I upgraded to my iPhone 11 Pro, I was misinformed about how the upgrade process works. I had 1 payment of $41.66 left on my iPhone 11 Pro, and because I did not pay that off first, I did not receive the device trade-in credit.

In my experience, upgrading to a new iPhone every year works best for me. Other options may be better for your scenario so choose the option that works best for you.

I never liked purchasing the phone from the carrier. Buying outright from apple is the way to go. You can trade in your phone at apple for credit. The iPhone 11 Pro was 450$ trade in and you didn’t have to have it payed off, if it was financed from the carrier

Does the monthly payments also cover cellular data payments?

SHOULD I BUY THE NEW IPHONE FROM APPLE OR LEASE IT FROM SPRINT. MONEY IS NOT AN ISSUE FOR ME.

hey do you know if there is even a iPhone 13? I wanna buy the 12 pro but I want the newest so

The best thing to do is have the cash for the tax and then make payments on the device. I had to keep an eye on the bill as they tried to bill me twice for the taxes and the customer service agent was able to correct the "mistake". Just keep an eye on your finances if you do payments as it can get quirky if you by an iPhone near the time your bill due.

Anyone can explain me how to buy it if I don’t have any plan of verizon

  12. Crypto Barbaro on June 11, 2022 at 11:01 pm

The downside of using the Verizon device payment plan is that initially you can buy it thru the Apple Store but after that the Apple Store won’t recognize that you’ve paid half of what you owe so you’re not eligible for an upgrade thru the Apple Store so from then on out you have to upgrade thru the Verizon website which does recognize you’ve paid half but often times it has less supply of the iPhones. I did it once with Verizon initially but after I couldn’t upgrade thru Apple again I decided to just pay the phone off and went back to upgrading thru Apple (citizens one financing)

What if I wanna get a iphone 11 pro but I wanna put like 400 could I still get it?

  14. Kitty Bitty on June 11, 2022 at 11:03 pm

I have a question, I’m trying to do a monthly plan. But I’m thinking of just paying off the phone first before I get it turned on with a carrier. For the iPhone 11 Pro? Would that be okay to do, and is there an down payment I have to do? Or can I just pay for the monthly payment and the taxes? Which is like 31 for 200GB one?

  15. KSPHIQ SHORTS on June 11, 2022 at 11:04 pm

Where did you get the 12 pro max? It is not on Apple website

I was just trying to buy iPhone 12 pro for $45 a month but at the checkout, it shows $65 with taxes. Is it only for the first month or will I be paying $65 all 24 months?

  18. Ervin John Escalo on June 11, 2022 at 11:06 pm

Hi i would like to ask about the first payment when you purchased the plan. So for example i get a iphone 13 pro max from apple online store and it says there that the monthly payment is 70$ / month sor for the day that you purchased it do you have to pay the first 70$ and the taxes? And also i would like to ask if the taxes for example is 200 plus dollars do you have to pay the full 200 plus dollar an the day you purchased it or the taxes are also divided within the 24 months?

  19. Khurram Maroof on June 11, 2022 at 11:06 pm

How much payment we’ll pay first and instalments while buying new iphone without older iPhone?

  20. Angel Ramos on June 11, 2022 at 11:08 pm

Any websites that you could just have a payment plan and not the service?

  21. Evacody124 on June 11, 2022 at 11:09 pm

The reason a payment plan is bad is that it adds to your cell phone bill through the carrier. So that 60 dollar cell plan plus the payment for the phone you are wasting more money.

Someone who out right buys the phone like me I have the one time payment for the phone. And my cell phone plan is a flat 45 dollars a month that’s it.

  22. Shatoya linin on June 11, 2022 at 11:10 pm

Can i like pay 3 months and pay the rest on the 4 month?

If I buy an iPhone 13 pro in payment how much would I spend on my first payment?

  24. Dark _Libra on June 11, 2022 at 11:11 pm

I have a question. So getting the phone plan when I go up to my carrier let’s say for example the payment is $50 a month. And I paying the $50 plus tax upfront like when I get there ? Or will I have to pay for a certain amount and then the $50 a month ?

  25. Usain on June 11, 2022 at 11:12 pm

Hey, there is this thing that i didnt understand when I was talking to agent about purchasing an iphone 12 mini, when he was explaining the difference between outright and contract purchase he mentioned "installements" throughtout the 2 years when it is a contract purchase, what does he mean by that, does it mean that im not gonne get the full features and latets operatinf system installed on my phone from the beginning ?

Like you I also get the new iPhone every year. In the UK, on EE we can share plans with other people, so I have a plan with myself and 4 others which is about £9.10 each per month for unlimited calls, texts and 110gb data to share, and I buy the phone outright. Because I have a very good condition iPhone pro max model every year to sell, I make £750-800 each time to put towards buying that phone outright. This year I’m hoping to do the same for the 13 so for the £1050 iPhone 13 pro max it’ll cost me only around £250-300, plus my £10 plan. That works out at £39/mo over the next 12 months with no tie ins. Comparatively, plans here are 24 months, which I hate, is about £60/mo. Easy £240 a year saving and a new device every year 👌🏼👌🏼

  28. // on June 11, 2022 at 11:17 pm

So do you like have the phone. But you still pay monthly?

    How can I get iPhone
    Really so tired 😫

  36. Dubitz on June 11, 2022 at 11:30 pm

So theoretically, my current iPhone 12 is paid off. Verizon’s website says with the trade-in I can get the 13 for $0.00 (minus activation). Could I then next year, do the same thing and trade in the 13 for an iPhone 14 for $0.00? And so-on until the end of time?

the fact that it’s 0 interest makes financing the phone a no brainer

  40. recklessjunkie on June 11, 2022 at 11:33 pm

I do it just to get it then I buy it straight out after stacking up after a couple months works everytime the reason I do that is because I don’t like Verizon owning my phone that’s just me I don’t care what anybody else does that’s just what I prefer to do.

  48. Boi on June 11, 2022 at 11:44 pm

Ok this is off topic but do you have to pay for the airpod pro with only a credit card or apple pay (im going to the apple store for my first time tomorrow) I don’t know if you can pay without a credit card or apple pay because I don’t have any of those
