I think the camera comparison is a good thing because personally, I am thinking of getting 11 (currently I use 6s plus) as I use my phone to make videos for my youtube. So for anyone who doesn’t want to invest in a camera and want a phone, that they can use to film I think the comparison videos are great. Thaks Ali

Quite a lot of the photos the highlights are blown on the 8. Above that from the XR onwards they look the same
What is the best price for iPhone XR or iPhone 11? only noticeable difference is the camera and a bit of battery in performance not noticeable

I had 11, but honestly changed it for a Xs Max, i mean, OLED display si way better than the option to have an ultra wide lens. And also looks much more elegant.
i’m curious; should i go for the 64 gb pro max or the 256 gb; i’ve used about 64 gb of storage in 2 years with my 7+ but that’s being extremely careless with the pictures i keep/ apps i keep (i don’t even use a lot of my high storage apps) etc buying the 64 gb would be mote beneficial financially for me but would it be a good idea to just go for the 256 gb to reduce potential issues in the future if i decide to video heaps? i know i’d be using my camera a lot more switching from my 7+ to 11 pro max

Anything 8 and up is a great camera. I had a 5s 5 years ago and the camera was okay and then I got an 8 in 2017 and it was a huge upgrade from the 5s camera. I had it for 3 years and it was great. I busted upgraded to the 12 pro and wow it’s amazing. The portrait camera is excellent. Also amazing video quality and zoom

good points about general camera comparisons unless you’re like me and am watching this becuase SE doesn’t let you use portrait mode on ‘things’ rather than people, and aperture mode is the most used feature on my entire (android) phone so i’m willing to sacrifice all the modern wizardry that sells shiny new phones to most people if a more rustic model gives me a blurry background! if you’re super fussy about light & colour balance most things can be fixed in post, but a realistic depth of field is MUCH harder to fake. Also people make far too much of megapixels and how crisp an image is zoomed in when realistically you’re not gonna zoom in that much unless you’re planning on getting something printed on a large (i mean LARGE) scale – if you’re just doing it to upload to instagram or facebook or something those megapixels don’t mean much esp when the software compresses them anyway. I’m a designer and made 6x10ft advert cladding for a construction site and billboards and that’s the only time size/megapixels etc on photos has actually mattered hugely to me as a someone who works with photography in a professional capacity. I’m pretty happy with my android phone as a standalone thing, but because of my job and being a mac user – the seamless integration between apple products just makes life so much easier. Really nice to see someone who actually has a grounded opinion about things like this for once! great job!
