Mine was 270 dollars at Fred Meyer. It was affordable and I really needed one. And hit F5, it has a backlight.
Sounds like to me you generally have a problem with HP and should be more unbiased

what is the maximum ram that can be installed on that one? 8gb is not enough for multi tasking. if urs caps at 8gb then im returning my HP 15-dw3225od to office depot.
it is a productivity laptop that is why a lot of people are buying it. other laptops with similar price have lower specs or short battery life even though it looks better than hp…also hp has a not so thick bezzles

this one is available right now on Staples for $350 with 11th Gen Intel Core i3-1125G4 4-Core, 15.6" 1080p, 8GB DDR4, 256GB SSD, Type-C, Fingerprint Reader, 3-Cell, Win 11 (Natural Silver). Not a bad deal.
I bough two brand new HPs from different shops and both was "dead", with totally discharged batteries. I think that it’s normally for HPs
Uhm…it only cost an additional $10.00 more for the backlight keyboard feature. Man, that was a lot of crying for only a measly $10.00. It’s like he deliberately left the backlight feature off the laptop he reviewed just so he would have a reason to bad mouth the HP.
This is obviously a biased review which is why I didn’t watch fully through.

The best would be reviewing the product in your hand, and not so much what you think HP should have done, in relation to your personal taste.
So many people can still afford laptops today only because of companies like HP and Lenovo.
Apple and the alike to me they seem something different in the computer market.

I have the same exact laptop I bought it yesterday but with I7 processor and I regret it it gets heated really quick for no reason and starts producing sound the mouse pad or whatever it’s called is not that good if you want to buy it I won’t recommend it especially for the price just buy something else

I have the 12 inch. works great
I use my 12 inch. Windows 11. Bought from amazon for 550. It works great for school. Lightweight, and stores very well. Storage is key. I have the 256gb version. after 3 years at uni only 40 gb have been taken. Love how google is in it cause I use everything for google
