Today I learned, if you’re really tall go for longer ties. If you’re short go for shorter ties. Thanks for that insight.

How do you get such good items so quickly? Here in the UK there’s so much faff spammed by dodgy sellers with like 20 good items in my size

I go to Josabank and get their clearance suits for 100 a piece. Good thing I know my size! 😀

  13. Jim Morgan on October 13, 2020 at 8:51 pm

Before Covia 19 you could go to Dillard’s on the last weekend of the month and they mark down even further than the sale price or what ever pricing they have on the suit or dress clothing.. I have bought many suits that retailed for over 700,00 dollars for under 200.00 including the alterations. I have found that Austin-Reed suits and sports jackets fit my body type the best. If you find a brand that fits your body type correctly you can do better in having you clothing fit with minor alterations.

At 6’5” and 230 lbs unfortunately there is never anything in my size, 48XL with 37 inch inseam, and 37 inch sleeve length.

  20. S Douglas on October 13, 2020 at 8:58 pm

Please tell the viewers that they need to keep their clothing sizes the same. They cannot gain or lose weight.

  21. Yusuf A on October 13, 2020 at 9:03 pm

I gotta get my measurements, I can never find a comfortable but fitting blazer. Standard sizes are too tight around the arms or too long in the arms

  22. Eduardo Escribano García - Bosque on October 13, 2020 at 9:04 pm

Great article and very interesting and usefull. I’m allways afraid buying through Internet because of the sizes of whatever ítem I like.

Can I get your eagle claw cufflinks for 80% off? No? Okay… lol

  24. Brian Barringer on October 13, 2020 at 9:05 pm

Did he say to stay away from orphaned suit jackets and then tell us that this whole time he’d been wearing a jacket that was once part of a suit?

  25. J. on October 13, 2020 at 9:06 pm

Nice to see you’ve lost some weight!

  26. Gustavo Acosta on October 13, 2020 at 9:10 pm

I tried brioni and zegna jackets in a store once, loved the quality but too expensive for me. I searched on ebay and was surprised on the price difference. I have remade my wardrobe almost from scratch with high quality items 95% off retail in the last 2 years. Now I have 3 sport jackets (2 brioni, 1 zegna), 2 suits (brioni and attolini) about 10 -12 high end shirts, ferragamo leather blazer… and a few other pieces of nice clothing. Everything looks great after some tailoring.

I love my “New Used” bargain wardrobe!! Never tried used shoes…

  29. m.p. maxplanation on October 13, 2020 at 9:13 pm

The problem with the measurements is, that people gain or lose weight. So just buy… one day it will fit

Immediately after seeing this I went on Ebay and wishlisted a couple of tweed jackets. I got discount from 150 pounds to 100 pounds within an hour on one of two items I watched 😀
Been on Ebay for 10 years and didn’t know that sellers offer discounts this way. But I never shopped for clothing here. Thanks for the advice!

  38. Rishabh G on October 13, 2020 at 9:27 pm

Great video! I just want to point out that pressing the "Ctrl" key and clicking on a link will open it in a new tab in the background, and I personally think that might be easier than using LinkClump

  39. Robert Ferguson on October 13, 2020 at 9:27 pm

I would love to see a video on how dress in tropical climates. I live in Florida and to dress in a casual suit during the summer just wont cut it. It’s hot outside and light clothes is very normal wear. You can use the styles if you’re going to a restaurant or a event. Just would like to other options.

Incredibly insightful and helpful video – I was skeptical at first because of the very ‘clickbait’ title, but very pleasantly surprised. Great work as always, thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much for this information! Thanks to your techniques, I was able to get a mint condition Custom Martin Greenfield Deep Charcoal Pinstripe Hand Tailored Suit in my size for $200. I told my tailor and she gasped and dropped her tools in shock.

  45. Steve Agatowski on October 13, 2020 at 9:34 pm

I can understand that there will be discrepancies between companies regarding size measurements such as "large" or "medium", etc.. But I cannot see why 42" is different! I mean, an inch is an inch, isn’t it?

I recently bought a "used" Canali double-breasted Coat made out of 50% Mohair / 50% Wool for just 40€. That’s a good catch imo

  50. Martin Parnham on October 13, 2020 at 9:37 pm

I’ve noticed on eBay, at least in 🇬🇧 that “sports coat/jacket” brings up Adidas jackets and sportswear so filtering is key!
