4:45 is when the actual cleaning starts
My oven is “steam clean” only. Is this the method I can use on it? I can’t use easy off due to the coating like a typical self cleaning oven. But it’s not fully self cleaning.
Is normal for it to smoke a little when you heat it up again ?
When I bought my new oven, I had the tech come out to recalibrate the oven temp gage. When we were talking, he advised not using the self clean on the oven because it shortens the life of the oven. So, clean as much as you can with mild cleaners to keep your oven clean and minimize the self clean feature.
Very good tips. However, please use gloves to protect your hands during the cleaning process. Also, placing a pot of steaming water and heating the oven to a warm temperature will make the job a lot easier.

CORRECTION FOR CLEANING THE OVEN GLASS DOOR PANEL: please note, I recommend using a NON-SCRATCHING scrub pad (the blue one!) to avoid small micro scratches. The green one I used is heavy duty and CAN cause tiny scratches. I don’t care about this oven because as I said, it’s going to the junk yard on Monday, but I realize it was the WRONG tool to use and I wanted to point that out to you guys! SORRY! And thank you to those that pointed it out to me. I was totally not thinking about longevity of this darn thing when filming! ❤️

Does the bottom part comes off every oven?
Ew!! Girl get some gloves! Not because it is gross but because you’re cleaning. Any technical manual on mixing solutions involving chemicals (or bodily fluids) says to wear gloves. I know it’s a one-and-done, but that’s what they all say until it’s been 20 years of exposure. Protect yourself please.
Why you grabbing water like that doe?
I use the fire place glass cleaner on the oven door and a plastic razor scraper, does an amazing job.

Once a week clean and wipe what you can from the oven to keep it from building up It helps a lot

My oven is way pass any warranty. Also could you tell me what to use on the outside panel. Mine is black. When I shined my flashlight on it was terrible. My microwave and dishwasher washer too.

Thank you, fun fact if you give me anything mechanical, I can break it down, fix it. Maintain it. But I suck at cleaning haha.So, instead of blasting the inside of my oven out with wd40 and attacking the burned on crust with a wrench I considered looking up tips before I started. And I’m glad I did, thank you so much for all of your help.

How do you clean your oven racks if you don’t have a bathtub. I have a very very small kitchen like about 70% of Dutch homes have. So…how do you handle this?
It’s really easy to apply this paste with a paintbrush. and the best technique is to leave the oven light on (for a small amount of heat) and let this sit overnight. It dissolves the gunk and makes it much easier to clean off.
Please give me some advice on how I can clean my neff combo oven microwave of which the interior is stainless steel I’ve hardly had it for 3 weeks and the back wall where the fan is has become so soiled I’ve tried the neff cleaning gel that they recommended but not worked what can I use please
