  15. Chuck Spencer on November 21, 2020 at 5:15 pm

DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG REFRIGERATORS, overpriced headaches!!!

  16. unreal one on November 21, 2020 at 5:17 pm

I think the best fridge freezer to buy are ones with frost free. I hate the old fridges where frost and ice builds up and you got to clean it and it makes the fridge/freezer smaller so actually have to clean it

  17. Scott B on November 21, 2020 at 5:18 pm

    Well that was worthless.

  18. Knight Salmon on November 21, 2020 at 5:19 pm

  20. Kaitlyn Chung on November 21, 2020 at 5:19 pm

Everyone is saying Samsung is terrible (I agree btw) but LG is absolute garbage, it’s been nothing but problems 2 years in. Waste of money.

    I love refrigerators

  27. Greg Chartrand on November 21, 2020 at 5:25 pm

My fridge died after 5.5 years, no cooling. LG repair sent A&E Factory Repair out to fix it. Tech said the compressor was dead, order a new one and 4 weeks later came to install. Put in new compressor and found there was a leak in the system. Found the leak in the yooder loop (inside fridge) which is repairable. Tech told me to call LG and escalate to level II repair and told me the "sealed system" was covered in warranty as was the compressor so LG would compensate me because sealed system was unrepairable. LG said tech had to call and escalate, I could not even though I had the paperwork saying it was unrepairable. Tech would not return calls and did not escalate. Called A&E and they could not contact tech. I went round and round with LG and A&E for weeks. Finally LG customer service said they would try with my paperwork to escalate to level II. They tried but the escalation was rejected by LG. More weeks of calls and my claim was moved over to "Executive Services". "Sandra" of ES said, no problem, she could make the referral happen, would call "tomorrow" and the problem would be resolved. Two weeks later, nothing resolved, no calls or response form Executive Services. The last try was to send an email to the head of customer services Matt Corn. Message sent, no response.

LG has no customer service and does not stand behind their warranty. They create a situation where A&E (their contracted repair service) won’t refer to LG level II (which LG requires) if the repair involves LG to compensate the customer. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER LG PRODUCT, NOR SHOULD YOU!!

U want to avoid a computerized screen refrig ..That usually fails with in two years ..Avoid Samsung period

  29. Lothos Delion on November 21, 2020 at 5:33 pm

You want something reliable and one that can be serviced easily. Samsung, and LG look nice but are horrible on reliability and getting someone to service them! Also the more gimmicky the more potential problems!

  30. The Bees on November 21, 2020 at 5:33 pm

Well that certainly was a waste of my time.

  31. Jeff Wagner on November 21, 2020 at 5:34 pm

  38. chloe kaftan on November 21, 2020 at 5:40 pm

a lot of people seem to be hating on fridges with smart screens.. too old maybe? cant appreciate technological progress? or just cant find a use for it? well how about for what its actually advertised for? but instead of downloading so many apps that tell you want to do – surf the net for websites that allow you to not only search for recipes but save them, edit them for yourself, and be able to look them up on the fly, and if its in an account then you can also open it on your pc/laptop when your’e brainstorming ideas in the evening after watching netflix, and then open the recipe in the morning on the fridge, its far more convenient than moving your computer around and its very inconvenient to run to the bedroom just to check the recipe and very irresponsible to print the recipe for one time use, and laptops aren’t the safest devices to have in the kitchen, not only does it take up valuable countertop space but its also quite vulnerable to spillage unlike a smart fridge. if you still cant see the benefit after all i said then you truly have no creativity.

I want a top quality side by side without a water dispenser and without a compressor that makes irritating noises, especially high-pitch ones. I bet nobody responds to this, because they do not exist.
