I would really like to nominate your YouTube show as product of the year but I would also like to try the Bluesound streamer with the wharfedale Linton. Would they work together? Happy Christmas.

  2. Jdiddy1792 on December 31, 2021 at 4:58 pm

Personally I could never justify paying the same for the Sony system that I would for 2, yes TWO, Q950A soundbars and for that reason alone at least to me it is not worthy.

As far as TVs go, I hope you can test more brands next year because Sony ABSOLUTELY DO NOT DESERVE ANY AWARDS for selling TVs with defective Mediatek HDMI chips and the fact that they even get awards doing it is THE VERY REASON they continue to do it and get away with it.

  6. Terry Clarkson on December 31, 2021 at 5:02 pm

If looks could kill that Rotel AV receiver would be doing triple life. What a gorgeous hunk of aluminum!

  7. Dawid Kaminski on December 31, 2021 at 5:03 pm

Excellent job as always – thumbs up. I think you are the only reviewers that I always listen with pleasure even when I’m not on the market to buy. It’s good to hear 2 people thoughts – audiophile geek and a regular person as majority of us is somewhere in the middle (I know Kristi you are slowly joining the dark side).

  8. John McKay on December 31, 2021 at 5:05 pm

my poty – Michi X3 – dud of the year – 2021 bluesound powernode, a dysfunctional shocker – thanks for your channel this year A&K!

  9. Kai Schmidt on December 31, 2021 at 5:07 pm

Kanto Yu Passive. By far not the greatest product ever, but so much fun for a very affordable price.

  10. Walter Vasquez on December 31, 2021 at 5:07 pm

onkyo rz50 thanks to you guys… more power to your channel. stay safe and god bless..

  11. Rik Pasman on December 31, 2021 at 5:10 pm

Any reason why the Heco Aurora 700 isn’t on the list as you where really hyper about those in your review?

  12. mdd47 on December 31, 2021 at 5:17 pm

Are the Magnats mirrored? I can see the Transpuls 1000s are but I can’t find a straight answer about the 1500s.

I also want to ask if @5:00 means what I think it does but I will refrain because reasons

  13. Sandgroper 1970 on December 31, 2021 at 5:18 pm

I have an home theatre / music audio , set up based around focal 7 series speakers ( 3 way fronts, bookshelf for rears, and centre), 2 bluray players a Sony for video, and Cambridge Audio Azur 752, for cd, sacd, bluray audio. The avr receiver is the Denon 2807, but I am seriously thinking if I had some money replacing the Denon 2807 with a Nad T 758 v3. So to I get the option of digital streaming. The current sound is good, and that Cambridge Audio unit is the best upgrade to my audio , it has really been great , switch out the lights, darkened room, and have music playing, incredible, including albums I had played often, but somehow they sound better.

  14. Martin Gillespie on December 31, 2021 at 5:19 pm

You guys ate missing out so much by not having panasonic or Philips tvs , they ate a better bet yhan the Sony

  15. Swinde on December 31, 2021 at 5:19 pm

La Scala has been around for years. When I lived in Memphis, TN, a friend of mine has a pair of La Scala speakers driven by McIntosh equipment in about 1980. They have been great for a long time.

  16. Fu Fun on December 31, 2021 at 5:20 pm

yeah! I have Linton with stands, love it

  17. Josh Cutler on December 31, 2021 at 5:22 pm

Andrew for 2022, can you please review some ascend acoustics speakers? thanks.

  18. Minh Tran on December 31, 2021 at 5:24 pm

Does Andrew Robinson use banana plugs and if so, what are his favorites?

  19. Michael Nickens on December 31, 2021 at 5:24 pm

❤️U Kristi. You make this so .much fun. I love your focus on access, affordability, and bringing new people into A)V.
    Andrew, you rock too!
Mine were between the Samsung QN90A price to performance
    Runner Up. Sony A80J
Sony will always be in my dog house for making wide legs so us avg Joe’s can never fit the darn things on most of our consoles/stands 😖😝

  21. Redmed427x on December 31, 2021 at 5:28 pm

Ok this is totally off topic but I love the vibes your partner and you give off. The videos always feel warm and cozy.

  22. carleast on December 31, 2021 at 5:29 pm

I do wonder how many people will benefit from the main reason that you gave for crowning the Audiolab 6000A Play. The fact that you can partner it with any speaker is great where you swap out your speakers every day. The fact that it’s missing a HDMI input surely limits its TV value vs the Bluesound Powernode?

  23. CosmicKnight1 on December 31, 2021 at 5:29 pm

That was a fantastic POTY, really well done! Thank you for a great year of reviews!!! Cheers 🙂

As a viewer, and for what I’m going to say, a consumer. I would like to extend my thanks to the manufacturers who’ve sent gear to reviewer for putting it out there. I value insight and reviews like this, but perhaps most importantly I buy what I like whether someone else thinks it’s ’best’ or not.

  24. Michael Bauer on December 31, 2021 at 5:30 pm

Another fantastic review from you and Kristi. Please keep up the great work. I do have one question however. I was going to purchase the Audiolab 6000a play buy your recommendation but I realized it did not have a sub out. I’m going to use a set of bookshelf speakers in a den but I’m not sure what brand yet and I’d like to add a sub to get the most bass I can. What would be your second choice for a similar sounding amp with a sub out. Thank you for your time and have a great holiday!

  25. James Galligan on December 31, 2021 at 5:31 pm

I love Andrew and Kristi’s back and forth. It’s really what makes this channel special and worth coming back to over and over again.

  26. bburkie55 on December 31, 2021 at 5:32 pm

Is that a McIntosh product on the shelf behind Andrew?

  27. William Foster on December 31, 2021 at 5:33 pm

How do you two decide on a split? It sounds like Andrew could have (or did) want the B&O for loudspeaker of the year? Does Kristi say "no more bootie" unless you agree? Just curious how you come to unanimous agreement. There is no way that you could both have the identical opinions on something so subjective as sound.

  28. Scott Meyer on December 31, 2021 at 5:34 pm

I need to hear the La scala’s. Would love to hear them next to my Dali Helicon 800’s. Which i really enjoy.

  29. Jason Allen on December 31, 2021 at 5:34 pm

???Between the klh model 5’s and the warfdale Linton’s, which is less picky about placement? I’m going to have to have them about 10 inches from the back wall. My other option is totem sky’s which you can have close, but you don’t review those.

  30. DJ ICE on December 31, 2021 at 5:37 pm

This video was so peaceful for me. No loud noise or crazy background music – It was a lot to take in, but you guys did a great Job in the description, links, and overall general information about some of the products that was nominated & ultimately seelected as the winner. Thank you for all that you do.

  31. Glen Gatt on December 31, 2021 at 5:37 pm

Can you at least thank the new guy to audio property that phrased you and your awesome channel really good channel

  32. Don Quixote on December 31, 2021 at 5:40 pm

What a performance! My best of 2021 is you guys. Bravo! ♥️♥️♥️ Good luck and may mercy, peace and love be multiplied to you.

  33. Nelson Romo on December 31, 2021 at 5:40 pm

i’m a new but instantly BIG FAN of the channel! .. and of the both of you! … thanks, Kristi & Andrew! ❤️➕❤️

  34. Bert on December 31, 2021 at 5:41 pm

I so want to pull the proverbial trigger and purchase the Sony A9 but review after review pegs them as “buggy”. Specifically relating to the frequency of having to re-pair the speakers due to them going out during play.

If that ever gets corrected I’d be down with that – it seems outside the box from a technology standpoint and I do value your opinion greatly.

  35. MrEkattan on December 31, 2021 at 5:43 pm

Which are the speakers that appear alongside with the TV of the year Sony A90J ?

  36. shinyori on December 31, 2021 at 5:44 pm

    Hi Andrew,
What would you recommend between Samsung q950a, q950t , beosound stage and sonos arc? I want to buy a soundbar that would be used for music, movies, playstation 5 and sports. I already have 2 Sonos One SLs, but I`m inclined to move them to another room, because Sonos is quite complicated to connect with other devices (cd players, turn tables, etc). I`m not an audiophile by any means, but I just want something to have a pleasant, warm sound. Also, my product of the year is a tossup between KEF LS50 Meta and KEF LS50 Wireless II. I don`t own them, but I`ve heard them demoed extensively.

  37. Sam P on December 31, 2021 at 5:45 pm

What cabinet is that during the tv and soundbar section?

  38. Joshua Bellinger on December 31, 2021 at 5:46 pm

I would love to see a review of the Dynaudio Core 59 if you can get ahold of them! I LOVE your channel. I could watch your videos all day long. Keep up the great content!

  39. Jan Leewering on December 31, 2021 at 5:47 pm

Great review – just missed cd-players and dac’s😰

  40. Nanc Right on December 31, 2021 at 5:47 pm

It seems bigger is better if you have the room. I had JBL 4350s at my old home from the 50’s big front room. People would inquire about the live concerts and I would offer to entertain them , and reveal the pure magic of these studio monitors. when I downsized the new home was smaller front room and no longer had the peace of the canyon to enjoy. off they went. big mistake. The La Scala are big but manageable , there’s been so many versions from klipsch and many fans modded. Bob Crites comes to mind.

  41. RapidRedST on December 31, 2021 at 5:50 pm

The POTY is the Home theater set up of the 83” A90J Sony OLED paired with the HT-A9 & SW5 Sub. The large size OLED for the first time paired with the advancement in OLED picture quality brought by Sony engineers. And the HT-A9 paired with it makes for a remarkable home theater experience.

5 minutes from my home is a B&O partner Store. I have to listen to these speakers 😀

  44. Jason Weaver on December 31, 2021 at 5:51 pm

What an engaging, professional video, credit to you both this is top shelf quality all-round. Thank you 🙂

  45. Kirk Apardian on December 31, 2021 at 5:51 pm

What’s the Bookshelf speaker of the year? thanks

  46. Vitor Domingues on December 31, 2021 at 5:53 pm

Not being able to disagree with the sound quality, sorry but, i have to say, that all the winning speakers are ugly as sh…t.

  47. GreekSamurai on December 31, 2021 at 5:54 pm

Andrew & Kristi, you forgot to mention that the Klipsch Lascalas also offer additional storage on the bottom of the cabinet and can hold all kinds of decorations on top including a heavy duty amplifier or two. Klipsch did a great job building additional functionality into the speaker 🙂

    Just kidding, Happy Holidays!

  48. Frank Castora on December 31, 2021 at 5:55 pm

    Well done!

    🙏💖😺🤗😊

  50. HerrFinsternis on December 31, 2021 at 5:57 pm

Oeh the Linton’s, I did not expect that from you over the model 5s. I bought them myself last week, breaking them in as I’m listening to this.

Heard they are a fantastic match with the audiolab, but I want to hear more pairings before I decide.

Looking forward to the review 😊
