I would like a french door but I hear they have too many problems with ice on the door. I’d get one with water on the inside and ice in the freezer part or just go headache proof and tolerate a side-by-side.

There is currently a class action law suite against Samsung for faulty ice makers. All their refrigerators have the same ice maker. DO NOT buy a Samsung

Thanks for the video. I have this question. Will any French door fit in an opening that is width 39 in,  height 68 in,  depth 32 1/2 in.. I can remove the cabinet above the current opening to take care of a 70 inch. But what about when the door is open at 90°? Will it fit within the 39" opening?

Hi, I’ve been trying to buy kitchen aid refrigerator but the reviews for that model is really bad specially for not making cool after a short time and dripping water on the floor and so on🤔🤔🤔

Great video, but the LG does have a secondary ice maker.

Thank you for this video, it was very helpful. I would caution everyone about buying the LG fridge tho. The same week my 6yo LG broke down, LG announced a class action lawsuit settlement on their compressors. That was the problem with my fridge too, but it was a couple weeks of Customer Service Hell and $135 to find out that it also needed a new control board that is no longer manufactured. LG could not tell me how many MONTHS is would take to get that. Your video just confirmed for me (along with other articles) that the Whirlpool is the best buy.

I almost bought that KitchenAid model today but our fridge depth space is 30 1/2 inches and that fridge depth is about 36 inches. It was about 2,500 because it was the floor model on clearance.
