You can’t lead people to believe they can just plug in an electric range. It requires 220 service which most don’t have unless they have it specially installed.

Put function BEFORE visual design appeal …Check out the cost of replacing that Samsung oven cook panel if it were to go wrong…. approx $500…. then you have labor costs on top… Stay simple and cook on a PROVEN stove… Do your due diligence and research any model you’re interested in for common faults and failures and the customer service of the shop and manufacturer… a high level of complaints with the manufacturer of a fault MIGHT finally be recognized as a ‘design flaw’… seek these out before purchase.
My first mistake was buying a gas stove from a cell phone manufacture. I want a gas range with no electronics in it except the igniter. What ever happened to the great ones that lasted for 40 or 50 years like O’Keefe and Merritt, Magic Chef, GE. Westinghouse, Roper, or Hotpoint? I hate having to buy stuff that ends up in the dump or fails to work after 5 or 10 years.
I wish I could get one. Because in Suriname they very expensive and never saw them before. I really like it 😘😘😘

As an appliance tech I’m loving this. So many new flashy features soon to Be broken.
I disagree we had that first one was not impressed. The nobs for the burners are cheaply made & in fact had to call fire department to have it pulled out & shut off when one burner pinched & would not shut off

I owned one of these in my old house in Wisconsin. I always found that the gas was turned on by it’s mechanism before the igniter got hot enough – and I ALWAYS smelled gas at the beginning of each oven use. For the record – it was “repaired by a Samsung technician – didn’t change a thing though.
Gas range cooktops and gas ovens combined are preferred,but not necessarily.

Do any of the new gas ranges have the ability to light the oven via a lighter, when the power is out? I hate my new oven. When power would go out. We used to heat our home with the oven door open. Lighting the oven via a long match or long lighter. Now we have no heat source in case of an emergency. These new stupid ignitors suck.
Samsung appliances are garbage in the long run, parts are outrageously expensive
I took delivery on your best overall Samsung gas range this Thursday, without looking at any ratings at all. We agree totally. It is great, looks impressive, loving the convection oven (no need for an air fryer!), can’t wait to use the proofing feature…it is everything I wanted in a range. We have a Samsung refrigerator/ freezer and have always been pleased with the quality, needing only 1 repair in over 6 years, and otherwise flawless.
