Anyone who recommends a Samsung refrigerator has clearly not done their research and must be living under a Rock! Samsung makes the Worst possible products and is extremely difficult to deal with when making a warranty claim. Anyone who has owned a Samsung product especially a Refrigerator. The ice maker freeze up and doesn’t work, you get water and ice in the Deli drawers, the gaskets rip after only about two years, etc. My Samsung Dishwasher died after 3 years. Anyone who recommends Samsung products especially as a top pick is an idiot and a liar! He must be working for Samsung.
GE is piece of junk. On my 3rd fan in 4 month. The fridge is only 2 1/1 year old. Ice maker is loud, and bounced out the dispenser all the time.
I talked to the repair man and he said GE sold to a Chinese company and reliability is low.
I had major problem with their dishwasher now fridge. No more GE appliance for me.
Getting whirlpool from now on. Made in USA.
I pitty any poor soul that buys a Samsung refrigerator. They are so horrible there is a class action lawsuit against them right now about their horrible ice makers.
Please don’t buy LG after 1 year it will not work properly I am facing lots of hardware issues after 1 year.

I wouldn’t go Korean any longer. I regret it. My LG linear compressor went out after 3 years. There is a class action lawsuit forming because they are not reliable. Also Samsung has one because of ice forming all over their ice makers. You can check it out right on Youtube. They have tapings of news casts talking to people about it.
I have the Samsung French door refrigerator model RF28HMEDBSR is junk I replace the icemaker last April $395.00and it started to acting up in December and now it does work at all. I call Samsung and they only have a 60 MO warranty on their icemaker. They want to replace with some new icemaker for $700 with 6 MO I don’t think so. Don’t walk but run away from Samsung and don’t look back.
Clearly there is no research done in this review how can you recommend LG they are the worst customer service, warranty and defective product

Samsung French Door 3 Refrigerator has a big problem with their Ice Maker. They do not work and continually jam. There is a class action law suit since 2017.

I am making a video where I shoot my $2500 LG refrigerator full of holes. Beautiful unreliable refrigerator. Compressor failures are much much more common than other brands. You will pay thru the nose for Labor but compressor is covered for 10 years.
I’m not sure about the level of quality for them now, but I purchased a Frigidaire side by side 25 years ago and it has worked flawlessly the entire time…and it is still working perfectly. I purchased it as a scratch and dent in 1994. But everything in quality has been compromised across the board. Buyer be ware.
When will Samsung and LG learn to stay in their lanes. Do what you do best consumer electronics, tv, and all the other gadgets. Please leave the appliances to the pros. Please

P.S. after continuous search for latest national refrigerator, found their brand name was changed to Panasonic.
I have a Samsung french door fridge. Love the looks and the four doors, but this unit is total JUNK! The ice maker freezes up constantly and can’t be pulled out the remove the ice build-up, and even worse, ice builds up behind the rear panel and eventually hits the fan blade resulting in the most annoying noise. I have to run the "rd" function about every two weeks for three cycles (60 minutes total) to keep the ice build up down to a low roar. To top it off, the damn thing beeps the whole time the "rd" function is active. Don’t EVER buy one of these.

This company does not know what they’re talking about I’m an appliance repair person and that four-door Samsung do not buy it It will give you so many problems with the ice maker you won’t want it most people won’t even work on it cuz it’s screwless as well and it takes r600 which nobody else can repair. also that LG compressors fail on that all the time 20 out of 20 calls that I get per month on average on that LG refrigerator and versions of it is all bad compressors. really sad that they have this video up without doing any research on the longevity and the quality of these products.

Was looking at refrigerators at a local appliance store. No Samsungs but the salesman was really trying to sell me a Haier until I said no, it is made by a Chinese communist company. He probably thought I was fickeled in choosing a GE slide-in double electric range as it is also owned by a Chinese communist company. If Whirlpool made a slide-in double electric range, I would have bought it. Choices are few these days…it is like manufactures only have a few to choose from. Oh, went with a Whirlpool refrigerator…hope I don’t regret it.
Samsung ice maker is a POS. Do NOT buy. Well known problem that Samsung will not properly address. I have to chip out ice buildup and defrost almost once a week.

DO NOT BUY the Samsung 4-door flex! I LOVED it and had to have it, but the sealed coolant compressor died and IS NOT REPAIRABLE! We spent $3500 on it 4 yrs ago, and its now junk, just outside the 3 yr extended warranty.
Our new LG refrigerator failed so we finally found out that these units are junk after no repair person would work on them, so we were told there was this class action lawsuit and we needed to contact LG. LG customer service was a joke as they used a specific deterrence tactic to prevent LG from having to replace there poorly make refrigerators. They say their policy is that they will replace the unit after 3 documented work orders to fix it, so when you contact them after the third repair fails they just say they have not documentation of a third work order and continuously have to keep submitting work orders to have a repair person do the same repair that does not work! In the mean time, initially my family and I got very sick due to the high temps the refrigerator and now were have no refrigerator through the holidays!!!! This process has now exceeded two months and is not resolved! We will look into a lawsuit in our area as well.
