If You’re looking for a 7.1 gaming headset in 2018/2019 look no further as Corsair has done an excellent job with the HS50, HS60, and HS70. For under 50 dollars its definitely falls under the category cheap/budget/affordable, and you get a lot of value with this headset, regardless if you get HS60 with virtual 7.1 surround or HS70 which offers the same benefits but is also wireless.
Worst headset ever do not buy this. Microphone is terrible and overall sounds

damn I hate headsets that say "gaming headset" but don’t support surround sound even though it claims it does. Throw this piece of shit away or save your 50$. You can buy any amazing stereo headset under 50$ easy! but not any real gaming headset that really supports surround sound (it makes the difference just like buffers added to a theathre system!)
