    Tried doing that with my toaster oven, it didn’t work at all. Need something tougher.

    None of these steps disinfects or sanitizes small appliances.
    With the possible exception of the steam – but not if the steam is immediately wiped away.
    At this time of virus this "sponge appliances off lightly" is thin gruel.
    Disappointed in CR; this video is superficial and a waste of time.

    I would read manuals before doing some of these, my new toaster oven specifically states not to soak the grates and trays, but they are all dish washer safe
