The best Verizon phone plans can be broken down into two main categories: Prepaid and Unlimited. Verizon does have other types of plans, but we don’t think they’re a great value.

Verizon Prepaid plans include unlimited minutes and messages as well as a little bit of cellular data. We don’t recommend the Unlimited Prepaid Plan because it doesn’t include mobile hotspot.

Our favorite Verizon Prepaid plan is the 6 GB plan. We both have this plan and absolutely love it.

Learn more about this plan: https://www.upphone.com/cell-phone-plans/verizon/prepaid/verizon-prepaid-plan-with-6-gb-data-for-1-line-cost-review/

Verizon offers four main Unlimited plans: Start, Do More, Play More, and Get More. The Start Unlimited plan is the least expensive, and for good reason too. It doesn’t include mobile hotspot, premium data, or 5G access.

The Get More Unlimited plan is a bit expensive for our taste, but if price isn’t a concern, you’ll get more out of this plan than almost any other.

Learn more about the Get More Unlimited Plan: https://www.upphone.com/cell-phone-plans/verizon/verizon-get-more-unlimited-plans-review-cost-price/

When considering all factors, including price, we believe the Play More Unlimited is the best Verizon unlimited plan. It has higher quality video streaming, a full Apple Music membership, and more than enough cellular data to get you through the month.

OK guys dumb question here: i’ve never used a prepaid plan before but I do see that they are much more cost-effective. Are there deals than include a Phone discount or do you have to bring your phone already completely paid for?

Hey, FYI just left Verizon Corporate store in Cape Coral. Waited to be invited in since they lock the doors. I had scheduled appointment since you must. This is the third trip this year for various issues. Before Christmas I tried to buy new phones for boys to find out they have to be ordered since they don’t keep any Motorola’s in stock. I like the ones I’m familiar with. Today one of the ones I bought in February lost it’s boot some how. I asked if they could look at it. Verizon sent me the Rescue smart Assistant but I could make it work. I asked if they could run it. They told me they can’t do that, since they might get hacked? All the commercials you see claim their experts. Either they fired all the experts, they went somewhere else or died of covid-19. They are totally useless. They have to order phones, won’t help you set them up and don’t know their own products they sell you. Loyal customer since 2007. I guess I can’t do that anymore either.

In Europe they sale you 100gb data for 15€ unlimited calls and text ( but everyone uses what’s app) .in us we still making waves and wow for 6Gb ! Phone companies making bilions saling air time and data 4G a technology that is not so new and os payd for ir many many times .

  20. Tupac Shakur on December 10, 2020 at 9:33 pm

Verizon is greedy their products are overpriced .Also when you pay for insurance they wont cover anything and that way they say they aren’t responsible blame is shifted to asurion .I bought a 600 dollar phone.2 years go by my phone looks new I take care of my things. I start having issues it makes calls by itself it erases thing its basiclaly pushing the screen all over in random spots. I paid my insurance every month 20 dollars on time I call to get a replacement phone and no nothing, So now I have to buy a new phone Verzion helped me zero and they charged me a 20 dollar upgrade fee and also 20 dollars tax so it was 40 dollars just to get my phone shipped on top of that I have to still pay for the phone not to mention their service is way overpriced. Go with a cheaper company Verzion is bullshit .Trust me I don’t bash companies for small things I didn’t even want to type this out so don’t go through what I I have please.

  21. Fielding Preston on December 10, 2020 at 9:36 pm

Just looked on upphone and it shows 5 G for $40 a month or $25 for auto-pay (pre-paid for Verizon)….so obviously they’ve lowered the G and raised the price!!!! I really don’t like the auto-pay and how if you don’t want to use that, you pay more! Thanks for your helpful videos, especially someone new to iphone!

  22. T Tt on December 10, 2020 at 9:36 pm

I use Visible wireless and pay $25 a month the speeds can be very good, but the reprioritizing is a pain especially when your at home and locked onto one tower. I live in a very Heavily congested Verizon area. I think that Verizon prepaid and visible are deprioritzed at the same level. Anyone care to add?

  23. Summer Hayes on December 10, 2020 at 9:43 pm

WARNING: DO NOT USE VERIZON…their plan is scamming people during a pandemic

  24. Phillip Rhinehardt on December 10, 2020 at 9:46 pm

  26. Mohandas on December 10, 2020 at 9:51 pm

Bro. My AirPod has some issues, while using in a phone call right ear piece is working for only ten minutes. After the time it’s got disconnected. But left one is ok. And if we watch the movies or listening the songs it’s doing perfect at present. What would be the issue? I have switched off and on the device several times, then also un pair the device and paired so many times, after these steps also the same issue remains. Pls advise.
My phone is xs max. Software version is 13.4.1

  27. _____Zach _____ on December 10, 2020 at 9:54 pm

What I’m paying like 40 for 1gb of data with Verizon any help on how to change it

  28. Starzdaze on December 10, 2020 at 9:54 pm

This has to be better than Hello Mobile’s fake unlimited plan. Hello Mobile sucks!!!!! They’re liars who need to be shut down. After purchasing an "unlimited" plan my data service was completely shutdown. This was after having Hello Mobile for only two weeks!! I called to find out why my data was suspended and they told me that I used up my data for the month. I was told by one of the supervisors that if I wanted more data, I would have to purchase a booster. Yet, when I called in to check my account, the automated system says that my account is active, no payment is due and I have purchased the unlimited plan. So much for unlimited data plan. One supervisor said that my data would be restored within 24 hours but that never happened!!

I called back and another supervisor told me that under federal law they had the right to completely stop my data. Not slow it down but stop it. their unlimited plan is a complete lie. This supervisor even blamed me for using to much data on an "unlimited" data plan. That if I wanted more data I could buy a booster. They also lied about giving me a free month of service. This company should be shut down for its fraudulent practices! Sprint should be careful about who they do business with…..

  29. The Mean Arena on December 10, 2020 at 9:55 pm

Do not go with Verizon. They have raised my bill constantly during my 2 year contract. I mean wouldn’t you want to do your customers right and keep them? Nope, you’ve made me leave to another carrier. On top of how scumbag this company is, during this Covid-19 pandemic, they raised my bill twice, both months back to back. Glad they helped people in time of need. Assholes!

  30. Linda Eubanks on December 10, 2020 at 9:56 pm

I did this and they gave me a 35 plan and had no data had to call back and now they set me up with 40 and and it ended up 35 so be careful some of this is not true .

  31. Onome Edudje on December 10, 2020 at 9:56 pm

Hello how can i get verzion account???

  32. Simon P on December 10, 2020 at 9:57 pm

Wow, the plans in America are expensive.
I pay £10 on giffgaff (O2) in UK on pay & go.
This gets me unlimited minutes and texts and 6GB data + 1GB data in case I go over.
As for hotspots, there are cafes and eateries, etc who provide free WiFi.

  33. rt4476 on December 10, 2020 at 9:57 pm

Can you get a prepaid plan with an iPhone you are currently paying off?

  34. on December 10, 2020 at 10:01 pm

    Iphone SE just release XD

  35. serious to buy on December 10, 2020 at 10:01 pm

I’m switching to Verizon from T-Mobile. Mostly because I travel (domestic US only) alot & my calls drop often. Do you have any tips on which plan I should choose?
I’m debating on going pre paid or post paid..tips?. I heard post paid is never the plan price but overcharges.
It’s just me (1 line), unlimited calls/text/SMS, I use the internet/apps/Voip apps everyday. I am in urban cities mostly, sometimes traveling through areas w/no signal. So I dont want to throttle. I could go with or without the hotspot.

  36. Timman 36 on December 10, 2020 at 10:01 pm

I use visible and I’m party pay. Speeds are good

  37. william ludwig on December 10, 2020 at 10:03 pm

can not see the 6 gigabytes plan only 5 gigs, did the change the prepaid plan, changed plans?

  38. Katie Frys on December 10, 2020 at 10:03 pm

Thank you for saving my family more money!👍

  39. _-Nexus-_ on December 10, 2020 at 10:04 pm

Question is the data truly unlimited cause me and my family are tired of Boost Mobile scamming us with horrible service and they say their data is unlimited but it’s not its limited 4g then unlimited 2g which they changed it, used to be 4g unlimited so is *Verizon truly unlimited?*

  40. Narrow is the Road on December 10, 2020 at 10:05 pm

Awesome prepaid plan! Love you guys! God bless you!

  41. ltdunn86 on December 10, 2020 at 10:05 pm

Reported for false information. Stating your data will be slow is false. Stating you will be throttled is false. Depends on the area. It’s people like this that spread false information keeping consumers confused.

  42. pat gustafson on December 10, 2020 at 10:07 pm

I have the Verizon "prepaid" plan too. Great value!

  43. Cathy Montowski on December 10, 2020 at 10:07 pm

They used to the best here in Southwestern Colorado but they will not fix their cellular tower that went down last May. Expensive and loads of excuses for poor service.

  44. Junko Kinoko on December 10, 2020 at 10:10 pm

Great tip guys – So, I need a new phone mine is Frozen – with a family plan of 3 which is the best deal with unlimited data not sacrificing speed from Verizon? Thank you

I use over 100 gigs of data each month

I’m stationed in Italy with the Army. I’m currently with Vodofone and since I’ve been here I’ve been on the Vodofone Black unlimited plan. It comes with unlimited 4g internet with no data cap for social media, unlimited data for streaming also no data cap, unlimited talk and message, 500 minutes to call stateside every month, 25 gigs for roaming in Europe, Mobile Hotspot…all for 45 euros a month…and I’m getting ready to move back to the states and I feel like I’m about to lose an arm and leg holy crap.
