I just bought the TCL 6, 75" …and even though it does have its minor issues (like black crushing ) the mere fact that it is on the same lists as the flagships says a lot about the picture quality. The app gives yo a lot of control over color and the tv controls allow yo to dial in color and black levels to almost…almost the amazing name-brand flagship levels. If you are moving from a 1080p tv onto 4k or if you are upgrading a smaller cheaper set to larger 4k, this TV will not disappoint. If you upgrading from an already 4k HDR tv then look elsewhere as this tv , as good as it is, leaves a bit more to be desired…go OLED or save yourself the headaches and wait for next years models.
What about sports?
LOL loose the gloves dude. Unless you are checking how well your son dusted off your TV and doing the white glove test, otherwise the Mickey Mouse look is not really a look you wanna be rockin buddy LOL!
Sir I need your help , I want to buy a TV but i am not sure which one I have to buy. What is UHD 4k or qled or oled HDR
@Stop the FOMO Hey man, just subbed and belled. Appreciate you giving it straight on Console gaming TVs. So many other review/news outlets will just list of the "compatible" specs, espouse the virtues of the set and say it’s "good for gaming" whatever that means. I appreciate u.
For movies is easily sony x950h or A8h if you got that money.
Can anyone please help with this question? Does the LG UN85 support 4k 120hz gaming? Im hearing various answers and would love to know the truth!
Nice gloves!
What kind of tv would you suggest if I wanna play ps5 on 4k 120 but i’m not really interested in VRR? i’m more interested in if it has hdmi 2.1 i have a sound system that has a 2.1 output but at the moment im on a samsung 55KU6290F. the new tv will be mainly for long hour gaming but as well it will be used in binge watching netflix. oh, I will also be using it as a second monitor with a 2080ti. upgrade to a 65′ tv
Which TV are you saving up for?
Still bugged by the a8h not coming in a bigger size. The CX is tempting but the soap opera effect has always bugged me.
how does the A8H stack up to the A9G in 77"
What about 85 inch tv?
What tv do you advice for budget 1000 to 1500 for 75 inch and we don’t game? We are debating between Samsung q60, q70 or sony x800h and do you have any other suggestions besides these?
Hello Stop the FOMO, thanks for the very detailed videos. I am saving up for a mid-range (maybe ~1100) 65" TV for a room with 2 windows, but there is not that much glare being present. I care about reliability, and decent picture quality for general use (Netflix, YouTube, Amzn Prime, etc). From your videos, I’ve narrowed down to either Sony X90CH (Costco variation of X900H?) or Samsung RU9000. Which one would you suggest? it can also be something else rather than these 2. Thanks.
Hey man i just wanted to say you sir are awesome and and no doubt ill wait till next year on goodies.
Fomo I have a question and maybe it becomes an idea for a video. Is it true that for a "Standard" TV sizes like 65", 75" or 85" 8K it is only a waste of money? I heard that to get the advantages of the 8K you have to go to TV’s over 100". If that is true everybody buying standard sizes tv’s should save money for the best 4K possible.
Hi, first of all, great review! Now, as I usually have some light on at night, even when I watch movies, what would be your opinion between Sony A8H and Sony X950H? Thanks a lot!
which TV should i pick…what would you pick ? between the LG CX 77 or the Q90T 85…..i am not a gamer…will be just for movies / sports / and regular TV….welcome all opinions ..cheers all…stay safe
the way you break things down really helps us indecisive people.
You won’t be gaming on a next gen console in 4K/120 in 2020.. meanwhile almost half of next gen launch titles- 4K/120 mode available 🤦🏻♂️
damn.. that GAMERSNEXUS ANTI-STATIC MODMAT looks Nice…
With all due respect, the "budget" section was still a bit expensive for me.
IS the Hisense HG9 better than the LG Nanocell 65SM9000PUA? The blooming of the local dimming is nuts on the the 2019 LG 90series Nano. Please help.
Excellent review but please do one on 75+ HDTV,returning 85" TV is real bastard not even going with something with bugs, cant go wrong 85"900h.
Good talk but…
Sony Sony Sony but no mention of sound connectivity issues reported everywhere.
we are getting sony A8G 65 inches @ 5000$ after converting INR to dollars , so that’s a surprise , also I can’t find hisense H9G in india but instead they have 65U7QF what’s your take on that it is price around 1200$
Seen a few of your videos but none have any mention of Panasonic for some reason considering their tv’s are a match for the samsung , sony and lg’s of the world if not better in many cases!!
I just watched a couple of your videos, good job. Also I have the same Gamers Nexus mod matt, so I knew you would deliver good content.
OMG get a PS5!!! TEST THEM I need your opinion!!!
Hi Mr FOMO could you tell me the European or US version of this Hisence tv are know as 65Q8600WG S1Z1 I brought this in South Africa . Locally produced but can’t find reviews on it . Could you give me your thoughts guys
Avoid Sony . All my Sony tvs are dead before 24 months. Sony doesn’t know How to design a Power supply inside their Tvs. I Wow not to buy SONY TV.
Nice Gamers Nexus mat ya got there.
The Q80T is on offer in the Uk (Black Friday)!
Would you recommend taking the plunge?and does it have G-Sync ?
Fantastic video- thank you. I just bought a Samsung 75" Q95T hope I made the right choice!
About 10 years ago I was advised to buy a tv with a 120 hz native refresh rate to avoid multiple images in high speed action, for example when watching hockey, you could see 2 pucks flying through the air during a slap shot from centre ice. Nowadays everyone quotes "motion rate". So, help me out. What is the difference, and what should I look for today to avoid "2 pucks"? I liked your recommendation for the Hisense H9G. It’s on my short list. Will it avoid this problem?
Rip Michael Jackson 😢
Panasonic HZ 2000 best tv for movies by a country mile
Sony A8H is nowhere near as good
Witch one will you choose , sony xg83 , samsung tu8500 or samsung q60t/67t , all in 43" because i cant fit a larger tv
Your video have the highest quality!
I am not a gamer. I watch movies. I like the XBR65A8H. But I have to wall mount. Is there a universal that will fit my rear stand?? Thx
Not sure if I should get the q80t 55in, the x900h 65in when it goes on sale or just wait till next year since new consoles are out of stock
Thanx for all the great videos dude and keep up the good work. But i am struggeling to choose my second tv at the moment. It is between the Sony x900h and the samsung q80t during black week the samsung is about 990 dollars and the sony about 1000 dollars. What do i choose. It will be used for netflix and console gaming.
Great video. Thank you

Hey, I bought a Sony A9g back in March of this year (2020) got a update today, Tuesday December 15th, 2020, it added the picture type menu, and the blacks look blacker, and it seems brighter, and even more transparent (clear) can you confirm this? Thanks! 👍🏽
The best solution to this is somehow tv makers implement motion flow/TrueMotion/interpolation into game mode without introducing bad input lag and bad image quality. Then the tv does all the refreshing in like a 1000hz per second without the need to have smooth 60 or 120fps games. It’s like playing games outside game mode in the best picture quality available with Dolby Vision or HDR 10 enabled.. I tried this with The Division on PS4 @30fps on my B6 oled and played outside game mode and with TrueMotion at maximum basically gaming at unreal frame rates but the input lag is horribly..
Why does the link in the description to LG CX take me to a Sony TV?
you forget the super super budget TV, lol…
Could Hisense correct the Red Blur in firmware?
