I this video I explain what criteria I was looking for in a tablet for business use. I explain how both the Apple iPad Pro and Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 both were able to do what I needed. I also explain what features ultimately made me decide between the two.

I’ve been using a Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 w/LTE support for five years now. It’s worked well with cloud support and an SDcard. However, it’s really getting long in the tooth. I’ve held my breath waiting for Samsung to release a next generation tablet. They’ve finally done it. This is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+, which they released today. On the 21st. of August I’ll be standing in line to buy the 256 gig version w/LTE support. It doesn’t have everything I’ve wanted, but it is none-the-less, an amazing tool that should be three to assist me for years to come.
The Number One Priority for Business, should be Security. Samsung’s multi layered Knox Security System, totally blows everything Apple into the weeds. If a Samsung device warns you about an app having Security issues, like my Note 9 did when I tried installing Google’s Gboard, Pay Attention and don’t install it! Apps on Samsung’s App Store are Knox Security compliant, and imho it’s why Google’s Security Updates are slower arriving for Samsung devices because they’re made Secure. On devices lasting 5 years plus, both iPad and Tab have a problem due to batteries being sealed in. The best are only rated for 5 years and that’s when the batteries start dissolving internally, putting device electrical internals in danger. Fast charging Also shortens that battery life, so to extend device life (phones, searables, tablets, laptops) schedule battery replacements from 4 years or sooner. Hope that helps, and it’s why I’m switching every device to Samsung for Knox Security, including my TV, and the only assistant I will consider using, is Bixby. IT Security has been pathetic for decades, and is rapidly getting much worse and not helped by wide open Security vulnerabilities with Public Cloud Computing – ask Clinton and Obama about that). The only Cloud computing I allow anywhere my devices, Is Panda anti virus, which I’ve used for years to clean up the virus infections other anti virus software has helped infect people’s computers. So far so good with Panda (I only use their free versions now to ensure it is still up to scratch for new users confidence. All the best. Bob.
