So many people don’t persevere with Dayz and give up. Once you get used to the game you will learn to survive easily. Just need to put in the hours and you get so much more out of the game.

As someone who has played both subnautica games, personally the original is much better. Below zeros map feels to small and doesn’t have the same eerie and unknown factor that the original had

Rust is obviously better on PC cause of lag, lack of a few monuments, size, etc…. But, it’s still my favorite game on console. I think Rust fucked up by making the game so small. If you think of all open world(ish) pvp games like Ark, Warzone, Fortnite, GTA, etc…. All of those are huge. Warzone was what? 100gb? It runs smooth as butter though, just like the rest. Rust console is like 6gb. You can’t expect to make a top tier smooth game that’s only 6gb. Imagine if it was 50gb. It’d be amazing. More than likely, it’d be flawless

Oh boy I have some strong opinions on all of these. Love survival games so I’ve played all of these. Too bad there’s not many quality ones. In my opinion Ark is far and away the best survival game. Grounded should be on this list as well. Cartoony but a really well made game. Rust has already been on my shit list since it released on console. So many false promises like private servers still not being added years later. And the concept of DayZ has always been great but it’s poorly optimized graphics for this day and age look like shit and it seems like it’s poorly supported. The game isn’t necessarily hard either but the spawns and amounts of spawns are just straight up garbage. It’s artificial difficulty. Green Hell is also a tougher survival game but implemented SO much better than DayZ. Hopefully we get some more games along the lines of Ark where there’s an abundant amount of items to craft and great base building not to mention variety the game brings. Ark 2 is going to be amazing. 7 Days to Die I can understand not being on here because console is horrendous. It’s no longer supported but on PC it’s great.
