It seems like Sonos is the best since you can slowly upgrade it. I’m returning my Yamaha 1080 to Costco today and getting the Beam.

I’m on the hunt for a new soundbar for my LG 55" nano cell TV and I’m torn between the JBL 3.1, LG SL6Y & Samsung Q60T soundbars. I’m thinking of getting the Samsung Q60T but I’m a huge bass lover and also want some clarity at the same time.

What does everyone think when comparing the Samsung Q90R, vs the Samsung Q950T? I have a Samsung ks850 soundbar right now, but I don’t really hear the Atmos effects most of the time, so I am thinking about trying a new soundbar, but considering we are in this whole Covid issue, it’s making it a bit harder to run out, and actually listen to different soundbars. So I’m trying to ask questions of people on YouTube, which may not be the best or most informative, but when considering I can’t find many reviews comparing the Q90R to the Q950T, I just wanted to ask on this video, to see if anyone had a good experience with the Samsung Q950t over the Samsung Q90r, since all I keep seeing is how good the Q90r is.
Got myself a Q90R the other day, it’s just insane. Would you reccomend having the bar on "surround" or is it ideal to just leave it on "standard" and let it go into surround when it should, based on the source?
I bought the bose soundbar 700 and it didn’t work I couldn’t return it because COVID happened and they won’t refund or fix it so not I am screwed
Is SWA-8500S and SWA-9000S can work in my HW-Q70R?
2nd question: The free HDMI cable in HW-Q70R can handle 4k and dolby atmos?

Bro the q80r atmos experience is phenomenal as long as you have good room acoustics – like you said of course it wont match a full speaker set up but still…for a soundbar its pretty damn good. I got it for $700.

I own the Samsung Q80R Soundbar and use it with a 75" Sumsung Q900 Series 8K TV in the living room and it sounds fantastic. I’m so happy with it that I just picked up a second Samsung Q80R Soundbar for my 55" Samsung Q900 Series 8k TV in the Master Bedroom.

Sony…Sonos, Sennheiser or Anheuser (actually made me reach into the fridge for a beer)…it’s Sunday afternoon where I am, and I’m trying to relax and listen to this high-speed delivery of nonsense, which is all I hear since the delivery is too fast to be acurate (and yes I know I can slow it down myself, but that means I have to get back out of my chair and I shouldn’t have to do that). It’s just stupid and this video wouldn’t suffer at all had it been 2 minutes longer. The pronounciations might have been clearer, as in I’d understand the brand names clearly, and there might be less confusion about what this guy is talking about. Slow down you morons, we have the time; as it is it’s nothing but white noise, but maybe that’s the whole point when you test Anheuser equipment…:):):)

With regards to the Sonos beam – how much does it matter that it only reads Dolby digital? I have a lot of blu ray movies and I am worried that the sound will not be great considering they utilise formats that the beam won’t recognise. I have also looked at the Sony htx8500 which does read a lot more formats – what would you recommend?
