Best PSVR Games (2021)
One of the best reasons to own a Sony Playstation over rival consoles is still the PSVR headset, which now boasts a seriously stacked catalogue of games. Some are exclusive to the PS5 and PS4, some are cross-platform, and here’s the greatest titles you can download and play as we hit 2021.
Check out my review of the VR experience on Sony’s new console, and hopefully we’ll have some PSVR 2 news soon! I’ve also offered my thoughts on the PS5 after a month of testing so go check that out.
Old classics like Astro Bot and Wipeout Omega Collection, not to mention Beat Saber and Blood & Truth, definitely hold up well. However, this past year saw the launch of several great new PSVR games such as the excellent puzzle adventure The Room VR A Dark Matter, and action title Star Wars Squadrons.
There are scares aplenty in horror adventure Resident Evil 7, but one of my favourite PS4/PS5 offerings is still Blood & Truth, which emerged back in 2019. The gunplay is sublime, as much fun as the arcade brilliance of Pistol Whip 2089.
Meanwhile some classics such as SuperHot VR, Virtual Rickality and Trover Saves the Universe still make it into this best games list. And if you want a casual family-friendly offering, then you can’t go wrong with the very cute Moss.
Of course these are just my absolute favourites right now, out of all the games I’ve tested and reviewed. But I didn’t have space for other brilliant titles like Skyrim VR, I Expect You To Die and so on.

You should’ve mentioned gorn better than swordsman for sure you get hit once in swordsman and you’re dead and the game looks awful but gorn gives you time to kill and you can toss everyone like a wee ball

Psvr is dead for me. They dont even build controller for it and the games all of it its like a joke. Maybe psvr they build only for the kids. Oculus is better than psvr.

The only bad thing for me on psvr is that my hands are literally 20 feet away from which sucks because I can play gorn. Does anyone have a solution?

amazing how many people dont have ps4vr yet, I consider it a must for a ps4 owner, Its a very underrated market 🙁 I think because buyers need to try it first to understand depth of field perception and you cant make a commercial for that 🙁

I bought PSVR 4, I played games Astro’s, it look like just a large screen in front of me, is this normal? Not the same like I tested the oculus vr on a store I can see the entire space. Sorry for asking I have no experience with this PSVR 4.

I don’t understand the love of Super Hot. It is, in my opinion, the worst vr game ever!
I ain’t gonna lie. My favorite is still Astro Bot. Clever game, with few gltich issues. Tetris Efftect is awesome. Blood & Truth is great too. Thumper is an underrated fun game too. Intense speed and cool visuals.
I would personally recommend gorn its fun but gruesome however there is a low violence mode watch videos on it first and also iron man fr it’s just fantastic

When the psvr 2 comes out it probably will be as hard to get as the ps5
Best PSVR games I’ve come across are (in no particular order, some already in video):
1. Resident Evil 7 (very stressful and intense and very well executed – sometimes feels like you are there. Paranormal Activity gets an honorable mention for being creepy as f., also very stressful to play)
2. Dreams (A must-have. Loads of free games and experiences by the community, and loads of garbage and nonsense, but overall many ‘WOW’ moments will be had)
3. Dream Match Tennis (great tennis experience overall, just remember to lower the shot power way down from default. Usually someone online to play with, not always)
4.Rec-room – a must-have if you want to socialize, or slap people randomly for lols. Full of edgy kids though. Some adults play.
5. VR Skyrim – great if you want to play an offline RPG. Basically default skyrim, no mods allowed.
A few honorable mentions: No Mans Sky, Tetris Effect, Everybody’s Golf
We will have psvr2 and most importantly, move stick. No wires. I don’t know about camera, or how they will track move.
