I don’t think you know what a Workstation laptop is (Workstation, CAD, same thing….). They usually have quadro GPUs and aren’t flashy, but have incredible specs. These don’t have quadro GPUs. They have Geforece GTX or RTX graphics cards, which means that most CAD programs won’t support them. They’re good for gaming (and only 2 of them are at that rate), and mediocre in CAD

They are all very good but for me the number one is Acer ConceptD 7 very innovative I recommend it

Hi, this is a really interesting video. I’m looking to buy a new laptop for CAD modeling, around €2000,-. Is this video still up to date or are there new better laptops for CAD and Photoshop? I know the 11th gen intel cpu is out now and the ryzen CPU’s look really good too! If you had €2000-€2500 euro’s, what laptop would you buy right now for CAD and Adobe software? Thanks

  28. Randy Vargas on March 1, 2021 at 11:59 pm

Hello i have the razer blade 15 but i need something faster to render in revit someone help!

  29. Lo Mcera on March 1, 2021 at 11:59 pm

hmm, weird that this is posted this year. I own the same Predator Helios 300, same specs and model and I am gonna tell you, it is not that good. It is a bit slow while working with heavy geometry and other sophisticated softwares. And thats only with medium size projects. Imagining having to render super complicated and intricated volumetry in engines such as corona or vray, plus gneerating 3d vegetation, grass and what not.. i dont think it will deliver.
