I’m very sorry to type this, but this video comes across as a sales pitch for each of these printers and the specs you provide can easily be found in the manufacturer’s page.
I’d like to know the pros and cons of a particular model, if it is indicated for light or heavy duty or something in between, if the printer head dries after being idle for sometime, price range of printer and cartridges (if an inkjet), if it is an ink-guzzler, the cost of running it, if it has been improved from a previous model, why is it better than the others… etc., etc., etc. All the useful information that would help me decide, since people rarely have the luxury of trying 10 different printers at home.
I’ve been in the market for a printer for months now and I can’t find any that is good enough, affordable and doesn’t burn a hole in the pocket with the cartridge prices. They all have good, bad reviews and buyers beware warnings, so frustrating!
The Canon PRO-100 does have ink level indication via software. You also get a blinking LED on the cartridge that is getting low and a steady light when it’s empty.
It is apparently possible to refill the cartridges but it requires a device to reset the cartridges. I haven’t tried that.
As with any other inkjet printer I have used, you need to use it on regular basis, every other day or so, in order to avoid clogging. After 5 years of usage, this printer have never clogged, as it has an automatic cleaning procedure. The caveat is that this cleaning consumes a lot of ink, and ink is not cheap. There are 8 cartridges in this printer, so it adds up.
Excellent printer for photo printing but a bit overkill for regular documents. The ink is supposed to last for 50 years. Have not had the chance to test that, but photos printed 5 years ago that are hanging on the wall still looks good.
Buy this printer if you are serious about printing photos on regular basis. There are also the big brothers Pro-10 and Pro-1, that are of pigment ink type.
The only real issue I have had is that some types of cheaper photo paper tends to get smudges on the edges. It is particularly obvious when using size 4R. Haven’t seen the issue on higher quality paper and I don’t know the cause of it.
My favorite is Brother INKvestment MFC-J995DW, consider the best, although I have a doubt, between that model and this HP Envy 5055 model, which do you think is the best?

@8:21 "an all black body" while showing an all white printer? Anyway, getting quality prints are not really an issue with most of today’s printer. The problem with printer today is their super expensive inks. The most expensive liquid on earth.
Good video and you explain very well each type of printer, I have one of the list but I think I will change it for the first 3 printers that are of better quality and faster seem to me a good option.

my last epson was anal cavity.. i have been watching these videos and just skipping anything epson… it was always begging for more ink, and if i didn’t use it for a while it wouldn’t work properly.. it was horrendous.. it even got to where it left white lines in anything i printed

Warning about the Epson Ecotank. the ink gets clogged in the jets and is unfixable. so, if you’re not going to used it regularly, might as well throw the money out the window. It’s a piece of crap.

Two different models were used in the Epson printer slot. You showed an et 3760 and et 4760, and then you called in an et 3600. Plus you also said it had a black and white screen but it clearly shows a color screen. So, what’s the accurate info on the printer?

HP printers are rubbish support is absolutely shocking digital assistant is extremely poor and to contact a human is impossible, if, sorry when you have a problem it is impossible to get help, purchase at your peril.

I am becoming extremely tired of these misleading reviews when you go to the Amazon website and you look up reviews there is an a single machine on here that doesn’t have at least 19% of the buying public saying they wish they had never purchased the machine they complain about that service they complain that the ink is too expensive they complain that the machine is unreliable and then you have to listen to these people doing advertising on YouTube they make them sound like the second coming I am becoming increasingly frustrated with information disseminated by YouTube,
